I replaced reddit with lemmy, and I'm slowly replacing lemmy with other hobbies. I've been recording more, started dabbling in warhammer and battletech, and just spending more time with my wife and kid in general. I think it's been a net positive for me that lemmy doesn't scratch the same itch reddit used to.

I guess stoner metal (but also occasionally folk metal-ish), but the biggest influences on what I write are the Sword, Mastodon, Sleep, and Black Sabbath. But also sometimes I might make drum n bass or a trap beat, but I don't usually upload those lol

I created and mod two subs on reddit, and I'd love to see them make their way over here, but I've had a child since creating those subs, and I just don't think I have the time to do it anymore, sadly. Both subs seem on-board with the blackout on the 12th though, so maybe some of their members will find their way here. Maybe I'll even point them here with a sticky on the 12th...

God ror1 infusion was so amazingly broken, I loved it. Definitely looking forward to slime trailing whole screens with acrid and having thousands of hit points again.

Cashing In with TJ Miller. The first 200 episodes or so have some of the funniest conversations I've ever heard; it's just two friends who are genuinely hilarious hanging out. After the first 200 episodes, the show is still good, but before that is what I would call the Golden age of the show.
