Eternity is great! free, no ads, and no lag while scrolling. it also supports swipe to go back from posts.

It would be cool if they offered a local client to do the AI processing but it's not hard to see a few problems with that. It would be pretty difficult to sustain.

What's your experience with the new openwakeword?
I had some similar issues with all of my voice recognition / responses being very slow... I am running on home assistant supervised on top of Proxmox. What solved the issue for me was changing the CPU type to 'host' in Proxmox. I guess the recognition may rely on some CPU extensions being available.
