Guy with a belly asks for girl with a small waist. The half-assed ugly shirt will do it.
Instant woman repellant.

Tethered Bottle Caps
If everyone had either stopped buying bottled beverages or cleaned up after themselves, this wouldn't be an issue.
Also, y'all sound a little whiny. This isn't even a first world problem.

What's something you did or acquired that made your life way easier?
Got rid of (most) social media. Even only reading about its toxicity makes me uncomfortable.

Apple announced RCS with a whimper when it should have been a bang
Reply in thread
That's it, for Apple the mere mention is already too much. Why would anyone want compatibility if they also just could buy an Apple product?
Also the reason why ipads and Vision don't support multiple users: not only should you buy an Apple product, but so do your partner, parents, kids, etc.

No, too easy. I'd only accept bets on how much of what material is found - like "31 Terabytes of furry porn" or "452 illegal WW1 weapons".

Depends. Where I live even signed contracts can be deemed illegal in parts if a clause is still seen as unexpected or surprising for the customer.
If Google included a clause that states the customer loses a kidney to them, wouldn't make it legal just because it's written there.

What's a band that has one album that is just about perfect in your opinion, but rest of their discography misses the mark with you?
M83. "Hurry up we're dreaming" may not be perfect but it's a great album all their other stuff pales in comparison to.
"Wolfmother" by Wolfmother. Period.
"Cruelty and the beast" by Cradle of Filth, although they had a good run around that time.
"Origin of symmetry" by Muse. It is the almost perfect sweet spot between too rough and too polished in their discography.
"Seeds" by TV on the radio.
"Boy King" by Wild Beasts.
"Passage" by Samael was peak song writing and composing. A text book concept album. Brilliant.
"The Four Seasons" by Antonio Vivaldi. Absolute banger, not an album though.

'It hasn't delivered': The spectacular failure of self-checkout technology
Self-checkout and self-scanning are great when done right.
I only need to pack my groceries into my shopping crate once with the hand scanner. Or when buying only a few items, I skip the lines and scan them myself, pay with my phone, done.

If there's one thing I don't need from a TV, then it's low latency. The pause, rewind, and skip functions are some serious stuff, on the opposite.

“Oh Man, That’s Rough”: Why Expendables 4’s CGI Looks So Bad Despite $100M Budget Detailed By VFX Artists

Don't watch the third instalment then. It's awful for The Expendables standards. I don't mean it's a bad franchise, it's just dumb popcorn cinema in a positive way. Sadly, Part 3 is dumb only.

Apple promises five years of software support for the iPhone 15, two less than Google and Samsung
They promise at least five years and everybody else first has to make their promise come true.
I remember Google killing off their 'Pixel Pass' even before any customer could take advantage of it. That'll be long 7 years.
