I hate reddit as much as the next guy but from time to time I find myself searching in subreddit like newborns, New parents etc. These subreddits do have a lot of experience shared from the past which has not yet come over to lemmy. [Discussion] Have you stopped playing a soulslike mid-playthrough? What was the reason?
I have played only demon souls which I did stop after the second world because I could not understand how to approach a soulslike. But I completed it later after reading a few guides. Also I don't have experience of playing a 2nd soulslike so I cant say why would one stop playing but my best guess would be that when one understands the flow of the game he may choose to not continue with it.

What game had you like this?
Demon Souls, couldn't get into it the first time, then I gave it a shot sometime later but with a guide for only the order to do levels ( I have no walkthrough policy) , it is fantastic (ps3)

What the hell I didn't even know this existed. I just chose all posts and thought I was seeing the aggregate content from every instance. Also, Seeing the usernames (with different instances on it), it made me believe everyone's interactions are saved and visible.
