newspaper at my job

The thing I find nuts is that "woke" just seems to be short for "keeping my nose in my own business and treating people who are just trying to live their lives with dignity and respect."

Wild how much they're against basic human decency

The Rise and Potential Fall of Doug Ford

Reply in thread

He should have never gotten in to begin with, but this brain-dead province voted him in thrice and will probably be more than happy to bend over and take it again and again as many times as its offered, all while blaming Kathleen Wynne who was a drop in the bucket in comparison.

Work from home

Yup, my work pulled the same Bullshit. I can work from home and we all worked from home through COVID... But now suddenly I can't

So, there's been a few times where the power's gone out or something has happened that needs us at a remote location. They send the team home. The rest of the guys willingly go. I stay back and remind them that "gee, sorry. You guys have made it abundantly clear that I can't work from home. All those times I had to take personal time... So yeah, no. I'll just hang out here I guess until everything comes back up 🤷‍♂️"

Hey Reddit, how's it going? Reddit:

/r/conservative and /r/conspiracy are still open... What a fucking shit-ass website. I don't get why they don't just # rm -rf the whole fucking thing already.

Clearly they're pissed that people are still using the site. They've made efforts to stop it by making shit redesigns, releasing a shitty app, user profiles, shutting off the API and trying to force people to use their shit app.

They must be seething that people are still using it and they've found a new way to try to get people to stop. Of course, they could shut the site down, but these are execs we're talking about - their forté is ignoring every elephant in the room and then creating "solutions" that completely miss the problem.

Reddit is removing the DM feature

Lmao chat is one of the dumbest features they ever rolled out.

I love how their attitude is always "we made this useless feature, and instead of ditching it were going to get rid of what people preferred and force the hated alternative!"

Once again proving that the Reddit admins absolutely hate the fact that people use Reddit. They should just shit the site down already.

Right-Wing Trolls Are Freaking Out After Learning They Can Get Sued For Calling People 'Groomers' On The Internet

Other right-wing accounts variously reacted by describing the move as Orwellian, lamenting the death of free speech and even contemplating leaving Canada for good. Some rejected the authority of the court altogether while others questioned if the judge herself had "something to hide."

Funny how they think free speech is dead. I'm sure the there's a pretty decent overlap between these idiots and the people standing in front of Town Halls and region headquarters whining about vaccines, kickdowns, and Trudeau with 0 repercussions.

These dumb fucks need to stop crying about "free speech" and start crying about what it is they really want - the ability to be degenerates and knuckle draggers without any repercussions.

I openly invite all these morons to leave Canada for good. We don't want them. Nobody wants them. Go! Move to Antarctica where maybe the penguins will put up with your dipshittery. Maybe we can set up a GoFundMe to help them afford the travel cost out of here.

Looks like DRM prevented to watch movies in many theaters yesterday

"Sony is having trouble with their projectors"

Why not call it out for the bullshit that it is? "Sorry, but greedy bullshit capitalism has failed you as a customer. The lockouts they've put on their media to punish the honest users is doing its job once again to punish you. We sure hope this doesn't lead you to find alternative ways to enjoy media without all of the DRM lockouts and garbage to punish you."
