I had McDs on vacation in France not long ago (it was the only thing open in town at that hour) and it honestly was pretty decent. Last time I ate McDs here in the states some years ago I had turbo shits.

GT3 was the first game I had on ps2, I miss it. Jak and Daxter, GTA3/VC/SA, Jet Moto 3, all the Crash Bandicoots, Soul Caliber 3, Max Payne, Tony Hawk PS 3... So many excellent games. And backwards compatibility.

I'll agree that its a good component to have. I couldn't say about driving instructors, for me that was about 25 years ago when I was driving a car from the early 90s that had the thinner pillars. I keep my head on a swivel while driving, but just as easily I've had a car or pedestrian pop up that I don't see right off the bat in that blind spot, especially turning at an intersection.

The A pillars (the pillar between the windshield and driver/passenger door window) have gotten so massive due to airbag requirements that it blocks a significant view angle. It used to be that they were an inch wide.

The increased size is to flout emissions regulations. Costs (aside from greed) is due to increased requirements from the NHTSA.

It really is a pervasive issue, similar to how Republicans keep ramming pet projects into budget reconciliation bills in the House. We really need legislation that bars bills from containing unrelated items in them.

There's been one confirmed arrest, and it was that guy David Hearn who was cycling by and peeled a piece that was flaking off. The feds say they've arrested several people, but with this administration I'm not inclined to believe them since they'd be plastering their names and faces everywhere if it were true.

Libraries are uniquely positioned to fill the need for third spaces, social places where people come gather and mix among their communities. The problem, at least here in the states, is that a particular segment of society views them as useless since they don't generate a profit.

That's my entire point though. The powers that be dont view libraries or even common areas as beneficial or even useful as they don't line someone's pockets. I'd say you'd have a solid majority of people off the street would very much like to see their local libraries funded, as would I, yet more often than not they're the first on the chopping block when fund cuts make their rounds.

It's warm most of the year, and that about sums it up.
