Whoa mama

Johnny Bravo's one of those rare cartoons where you got raw, condensed toxic masculinity in a character - and the entire show he's just the punching bag and none of us batted an eye because we just immediately accepted that his behavior was dickish and every woman was justified in kicking his ass.

Happy Freedom Day...I guess.

Yep... And every time there's an employment issue for the agricultural industry, they whip out the prisoners...

However to the prisoner's credit: They do an absolutely terrible job at whatever it is they're doing.

Why? What are they going to do... Fire you? Jail you? You have no incentive at all to do the job well as a prisoner.

Bonus is by doing a horrific job it makes employers less likely to actually request prison workforces.

Lols

It's funny because thia just proves the metrics used to measure a Cryptos "Viability" apparently have nothing to do with its actual value.

What matters is it's trading power... Not it's circulation or 'Supoly Cap'

"We had a 2% reduction in profits this year guys, 😭"

"The company lost money?"

"What? Oh no! But we made 3 bn in profits last year and we only made 2.8bn this year... So to make up for the shortfall, we'll be reducing 401k contributions."

"...didn't the CEO get a 200million bonus-"

"WE ALL NEED TO MAKE SACRIFICES!"

for our writing, we discovered no character limit (or one that counts properly....) and have started to move our content here. Even if it's just a side or secondary site, it seems to work great.

Nazi lives don't matter (rule)

Legit, my entire account and all of the accounts that ever touched the OFFICAL reddit app, were all removed when I made a comment "Yeah, punch a Nazi, with a bullet."

The accounts were all insta/perma-banned across all of reddit for this one comment.

Basically reddit was defending Nazis.

I am kind of not too sad to see reddit start sinking.

We thank you for many things over here - and very few of us expect Lemmy to run smoothly with the reddit refugees coming over.

I, for one, am thankful for text limits not being a thing!

However having to select my language on every comment is a bit... meh? Hopefully that can be something delegated to a user setting drop down down the line... but this is still Beta, so I'm not busting anyone's chops over it.
