Reddit decides to remove r/all

I don't even care anymore to be honest. Most of the legacy social media platforms have become absolute garbage. Reddit was the introduction to the wild west of internet commentary for me. Compared to 15 years ago versus today it's unrecognizable.

everyone hates AI

Personally I don't hate it but I just think there's really no urgent need for it. If they're using it to take jobs away from people well what is everyone going to do for work? To the billionaires think there's going to be a gigantic human die off and they're going to be elite class of 100,000 people and they'll be served by intelligent robots? If that's their angle good luck.

New York City killed outdoor dining and has stopped bus lanes in the name of saving street parking. Yet on Park Avenue, cars park for a week at a time without being used.

The last time I ate outside in New York City was I was having Sunday brunch with a girl I was dating and I was just about to get into my eggs and a diesel truck pulled up parallel to where we were sitting. When it started up it belched black smoke all over the place right next to where I was eating. I just looked at my food and pushed it away and sat there, I was not going to eat it. Never outdoor dined in New York again.

Trump Cracked a Pearl Harbor Joke to Japan — A Day Later, Tokyo Declined His Hormuz Request

It's literally just the type of person. My father is the same way. He's the same age as Donald Trump, comes from the same area of the world and has the same misogynistic high School waspy elitism BS. I've had to yell at my father because he's insulted people not to their faces but they're 3 ft away and he says something about them that they can completely hear. Out of politeness they don't say anything back. My mother died and we kept her car and it was having some problems. Wo brought it to the dealership so they could diagnose it and the service technician behind the counter was gay. So the guy speaks and had the gay lisp and what does my father do but say under his breath "wow that guy's a little lite in his loafers." Now he didn't say it low enough so I only heard it he said it low enough where everyone within 10 ft heard it including the service tech. My father thought nothing wrong of his insult and it was rather proud of himself. When he was up next in line the service technician looked at him and said oh no you're the other guy's customer and then walked away from him, the other guy had three more people before my father. I just died laughing and I said to him "see Dad that's what you get for being a rude asshole."

Ted Cruz Admits Trump Accounts Are Designed to Privatize Social Security Over Time | Common Dreams

Maybe they should do something like a milestone payment. So you're able to put money away like social security but you can access it every 10 years. So if I put money away from 20 to 30 I can access that money at 30 and then I can put money away from 30 to 40 and then I can access that money at 40. The whole idea of working your entire life to if you're lucky get social security at 65 is kind of ridiculous to me because you're more prone to drop dead during the 65 to 75 decade. So what a waste that is. If I could get myself 5,000 extra dollars when I hit 30 from the savings that I accrued from the decade prior that would be something.

Well that's not going to work either. Am I going to take a train to the grocery store? I'm not going to ride a bicycle to the grocery store I have to go up and down no less than three hills to get there. And these aren't small hills these are cardiac arrest inducing hills. So we do need cars we just need better ways to power them. And I don't mean batteries or gas.
