Out of curiosity I've wanted to chat you up about how you feel about it since after the incident with your app. It doesn't seem to have soured the experience for you?

A man was charged with attempted murder after he tried to drown a guy on crutches at a residents-only lake in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, over a dispute about access to the lake

Nah, I'm saying people enforce rules like no phones on planes selectively based on their own personal biases. The biases that I personally witnessed weren't against non-whites. It was different intersections but yeah it was situations where clearly the person would have been permitted if they were say, more conventionally attractive or had a more normative voice. I personally would speculate it would happen more to non-whites but in the locations I tend to fly from they already know systems of authority will treat them unequally so they police their own behavior more strictly than other groups or what is generally expected.
I probably should fly more around Europe. I've heard there's biases there but I haven't spent enough time to see them play out firsthand.

Mm. No I get it. You just haven't seen how humans act when that environment is taken to situations on the farthest spectrum of conditions.
Or maybe I haven't seen places that do enforce the full letter of their rules act truly equitable to marginalized people without any bias. I'm kind of a jaded motherfucker and won't really accept the possibility unless I witness somebody in that kind of environment actually handle that responsibility ethically. We've been pretty unspecific about cultures and locations, could you recommend a place for me to examine so I could at least try to picture what this would even look like?

My inner screen finally broke a couple months ago. It is pretty scammy but it seems to have lasted a while. I'm curious how long the rest of the phone is going to last in this state because I'm not shelling out for repairs on a phone I bought second hand

What's one item in your home that's at least 20 years old that you still use?
I got this solid marble 6ft lamp I stole from a landfill. Wrapped that bitch in ivy. Swapped to pink and blue bulbs.

Also I only drive cars from before the 80's because I don't like fuel injection or computers in cars

Well, I guess I envy your experience having never witnessed rules and laws being arbitrarily weaponized against people. It definitely does happen, you kind of just have to actually be examining it. Generally if you interrogate the keepers of such rules like policemen or customs staff, they will say the opposite of you. That they do enforce all rules impartially, or they would if they weren't restrained by zealous oversight.

I'm pretty sure capitalists just do this when left to their own devices. They claim the market is impartial but markets seem to be really great at manifesting fascism in places
