I was out fishing with my wife, on our kayaks. Hot as hell out, so I'm sweating a lot. I had a light weight button up shirt (sweat wicking) on. Phone in the front pocket, facing my chest.

Sitting close to my wife in the shade of a tree, and we heard a faint ringing. I pulled my phone out of the pocket and it was calling 911. Apparently my sweaty nipple called 911.

Got 3 call backs and waved at a cop that drove by the spot we were fishing on the river.

I had an old slider phone when I was working in the bush one winter. It was stuck in the chest pocket of my coat, and SOMEHOW it dialed 911. I only noticed because I could hear the weird clicking of the operator recording the call. Funny how that stands out in a forest, and not your own breathing, or the chatter of your crew mate.

I always keep my phone in my front pocket.

I've literally had this happen to me 4 times, with emergency services no less.

I was sanding the rusty roof on my old beater car, prepping for sealant and primer.

I never dialed 911.

Who knew that 08 is mapped to emergency services in the USA?...
