The atmospheres of pressure gag on Futurama is still one of the best that show ever did.

Recently got Mission BBQ (chain BBQ joint) after not having gone in a while, and got 3 miniature slices of brisket, a tiny cup of mac & cheese and a piece of cornbread that was MAYBE 1 square inch and that shit was like $22. It’s been a bit, but the price to product ratio was way worse than the last time I visited.

I don’t know which hipster BBQ place started the trend of giving you a thimble of food for mid-high tier sit-down restaurant prices, but they can fuck all the way off.

As a side note, I LOVED Dean Koontz books back in the 80’s/90’s. They were fun and quick reads that are in the “high floor, low ceiling” realm of books.

Think of it on a scale of 1-10. High floor means it’s not a stinker, so worst ranking would be in the 4/10 - 5.5/10 range. Low ceiling means it’s not going to be an all-timer, so the best ranking would be in the 6/10 - 7.5/10 range. Basically you’ll never HATE it, but you’re also never going to LOVE it.

Intellevision may not have the best controller design out there, but the versatility with the different card inserts made playing games easier when I was a kid. Basically a guide in the palm of your hands for each game you owned. Losing them did blow however.
