Bottles' Founder Has Managed to Run Microsoft 365 on Linux

My expectation is that MS will replace Windows with Linux within the decade with a Windows lookalike theme and Windows style desktop. They will run a Rosetta like VM to keep old apps running. It will be much cheaper, Linux can do anything that Windows can, with much less development costs. They might say that Windows needs at least 16GB RAM to keep that VM running smoothly, plus some new CPU and GPU to keep the hardware industry happy. They will still make it so that Office will only run on their version of Linux.

Intelligence comes in many forms. Trump certainly has some kind of intelligence, if only that of a psychopath. Putin was a KGB officer with a high rank. You need skills to get there, you need skills to stay in power for that long. So whether it's shrewdness or actual intelligence - he is somehow really skilled to do his job. And I long for the time that he is removed from his position, but I'm afraid that he is skilled enough to stay in power for years, and his pet Trump will not beat Putin in this regard, but I'm afraid he will live a long life.

Putin has not lost yet. He played the USA. Trump 2 was definitely partly his doing. France and Germany are up now. If one of them turns extreme right with the next elections, the EU is in shambles. He may have destroyed the Russian economy, but he may just survive this war long enough to destroy the EU, NATO and the USA.

I've read so many stories where Russia is about to collapse, and then it doesn't and suddenly it has free reign with their ballistic missiles as the Patriot missiles are out of stock, and things start to change as the EU is still afraid to really step up their game.

Putin is definitely not stupid. He has been the president of Russia since 26 years (forget about Medvedev), and has turned the country completely to his hand. That is no easy feat. But when you create your own tiranny, you create the risk of tunnel vision, you create the ideal circumstances for corruption, especially in a country that was ruled by corruption for decades.

Putin is not stupid. He is blind.

You know that caterpillars turn into soup when they cocoon? Until then they host a set of parasites that eat the soup to create the butterfly. The caterpillar and the butterfly are two independent creatures.
