The grease will outlive me
Not sure I will use it all in my human lifespan, unless I do maintenance on other people's stuffs.
The tiny squeeze tube and aerosol are left over from when I was obsessed with mechanical keyboard. Bought large tube before major gearbox work and perun installation for my current gun thinking the small one won't be enough. I was wrong by a lot.
The oil is the latest addition just for thinning the grease.
I have been using aerosol for thinning. It's been on my o-rings for about a year and no sign of damage so far. But to be extra safe, I will do a soak test in pure 31110 later and stay with recommended mixture (Multi-Purpose Synthetic Grease + Multi-Use Synthetic Oil) going forward.
Have mixed solution stored in a vial before. It's only good for one thing, STORING. Works okay for key switches and tiny brushes. Ditched it after empty because it's not worth the trouble, and did I learn any lesson? Absolutely not.
Mixing it in aluminum foil baking cup works well if you can cover it tightly and save left over grease. Found lot of small insects drowned in the grease and had to throw mine away during spring cleaning.
Other glass containers I can find are either too large, to thin, or don't have lid or cap. If you can find a short stubby container with nice cap like what revered pink grease shipped in then it could work, I guess.
I'll have one isekai with fries please

sorry, can't find en subbed clip. This is from official channel.
Do regulator seat/spring gets damaged and leak that easily?
First off, I am not denying that doing A or B or whatever will damage the regulator. I am asking because I see conflicting claims without having definitive proof myself.
I don't understand it. I see many people talk about these things like they are made with the shittiest rubber ever.
Don't store the regulator pressurized
Okay. Serious question, what about the tank reg? If you leave air in the tank, maybe 2500 psi, it can stay in there without significant impact. But when people talk about top reg that takes 800-1000 psi, it becomes you have to depressurize them before storage. Like, are they made so fundamentally different that they can fail under less extreme condition? Same idea for spring.
