Ads and tracking infiltrated TVs. Now they're coming for monitors.

No they wouldn't lie and pocket the extra money, as they always do...
But seriously, this is just to accustom the next generation to even worse conditions. And it's working with the whole enshittification thing.

That feeling that I don't know where the files actually are.. I never had that. I knew where I put my files.
But then SharePoint happened. And then onedrive. Is it shared? Where everywhere is it?
Of course you can look some of those things up. But is that information trustworthy?
Corporations are prying the data from our hands.

How often do you do this?
No, I prefer to be totally on edge sor the whole time to be early and then be very exhausted.

'Merica, with all its diversity
German here. While it does look massively different here we have these walls around the Autobahn to lower the noise from the cars. And since they're mostly everywhere it also looks the same everywhere: Autobahn, walls, sometimes trees or otherwise green.
(rush hour ofc looks different and is the same every damn day and we just keep on doing it)
On the other hand I have to say aside from the streets there's a huge variety in scenery, here as well as in the states.

What’s an obscure but concrete technical fact that keeps creating preventable issues in the real world?

Nah, the stock markets were fixed in 2008!
They created dark pools.
But in seriousness this unrealistic playground should be completely separated from real economics and fucks everything up.

Holy shit that has to be against the Geneva convention or something.

Play your 3DS, Vita, Switch games once in a while
Reply in thread
Depending on country. For instance, in Germany it's only allowed if you're not circumventing anti piracy measures.
Im not 100% sure on the technical definition, but in general then backing up DS games would be OK but 3DS not.

If you were an NPC in a game and only had one line of dialogue, what would it be?

This would be the only option.

Anyone else just not get things sometimes?
Yep, and they repeat louder and angry and it gets worse. Doesn't happen that often though but my brain processes on its own when it's ready.
On the other hand, it goes both ways. I need to wait for others to process and it gets very boring.

I learned how to fix my itchy scalp
I'm one of the people who absolutely has to use head and shoulders. If I use something different for two weeks it starts to itch, a few weeks later I get flakes (plus unbearable itching).
Sounds like an advertisement but I can not really use anything else (though I am open to suggestions, maybe there's something I could use otherwise).
Just do not get that into your eyes.

I have thick hair, but not as many as I used to. Still, good point I could blow dry it.
So now I need to find a silent / bearable hair dryer.

In Avengers: Endgame (2019), Dr. Strange says he observed 14,000,605 possible futures, and that they only won in 1 of them. This means there wasn't a single timeline where Chris Pratt's character did…
Reply in thread
I see it very differently. Yes, in the one timeline with a future they have to go through this.
All others might have star lord ruin it or not. But they lose one way or another possibly unrelated.

Hey, you might have luck with retro clubs or something. For Germany I could maybe help with that but I think you're likely in the US.
