Arch btw...

Reply in thread

EOS provides some more QoL features, it’s not just the installation itself (a button to update mirrors, auto keyring update, some nice pre-installed things like yay, etc)

If you need an Arch installation ready to go out of the box, EOS is a solid choice.

Edit: not trying to convince you to jump to EOS, just providing a bit more context about the distro

How diffrent OSes evolve

This meme says:

  • windows 8 somehow is more beloved than Windows 10 (lmao)
  • linux is just one single OS, instead of an agglomerate of hundreds of distributions
  • and implies that every single one of them got better with time (lmao)

Trey Parker Says South Park Didn't Get Political, But "Politics Became Pop Culture"

Reading the comments is weird because to me it feels like either people are unaware of the context, or are ignoring it on purpose.

His response was about this season’s unusual targeting of the administration. South Park was always political, but it is unusual for the show to focus so much on the current administration of the US, that’s what he was talking about and asked about.

Maybe he could’ve used different words but to me it’s clear what he meant.

Apple does spy on you, but unlike Google and Microsoft, they don’t sell your data.

But you still have to decide if you trust them with your info

Linux is the way to go* if you absolutely want to avoid any kind of spyware
