Half of America’s Cities Are Depopulating. We Could Be Headed for a Ghost Town Era.

For people who don't know this most cities are built upon the concept that they are constantly growing and receiving more taxes than the year before. It's basically a Ponsi scheme. This works perfectly fine if there is always money coming in. When people and businesses leave the money stops coming in, then everything starts to fall apart quickly. Have you ever wondered why formerly prosperous places like Detroit and Gary went to absolute hell. It's because they started to lose people and business. When the city cost more to operate than what is coming in from taxes, you become the murder capital of America.

Chat prompts and then accept the changes when they are worth using. LLMs are entropy apparatuses, injecting that shit straight into your code base is crazy. It took one module/subsystem done with agents for me to realize that it was completely unmaintainable. Not a single eng can make a change to it and the only option is to rewrite. So I banned agents. I know some people still try to get away with that style of LLM coding but I encourage people to instant deny a PR if it looks like garbage.

How are workstations setup for people? Also here in Canada asking for an employee's identification is illegal without consent because that is giving out personal information. We use Discord for public facing stuff at work and if it required Id we would have to shut it down. HR had to come to a bunch of technical meetings when they threatened require Id to use Discord to make sure we were following the law. We were 3 days from shutting the whole thing down before they went back on their decision. We were going to do it the day before so nobody had to put their Ids in. Discord was that close to massive customer loss.

I never understood what true wealth was until I went to Uni. My roommate was extremely ill equipment for life. They had never done laundry, never cooked(even a microwave), and never cleaned up after themselves. They wore clothes until the clothes smelt bad or ripped, and then throw them out. Then someone from home would send them a package with brand new clothes. They demolished their meal plan and gained a bunch of weight because they had never had to make any decisions about food before. They trashed our unit because the idea of cleaning was non existent. There is a class of people that have never done anything for themselves and are completely out of touch. Also these are the fucking people that run the government. Their parents were going to pay me $5000 for putting up with their kids shit for a year. Until you have seen this, you will never understand what the word wealthy means.

No, they explained to their parents "that they(the poors) don't do stuff like that." That is the story about how I learned who the owning class is. People just have no idea what it is like to have that much money. We have very little im common with them. If you make 500k a year, you are still part of the working class.

What are your ideas on determining an expiry date? A studio has no idea if they are going to be supporting a game for 5 weeks or 5 years. There is no fair number. When you are out of money you are out of money. If you let the studios decide, they will pick 1 day. If you set it at 1 year, only the unicorns and AAA can afford to stay in business. It would probably be more profitable and better for business to forgo the EU release altogether. No exaggeration. It will even save a bunch of money on localization. The studios will weaponized capitalism.
