I have noticed that working remotely really opened up the job market for me. Instead of being limited to where public transportation can bring me within 45 minutes, I can work for any company within Europe from the comfort of my home office. It makes switching jobs so much easier and I am willing to tolerate much less shit before I quit. That degree of freedom might scare companies. They can't trap me anymore with the costs of uprooting my life for a better job.

Online vegan here. Just wanted to add that after a couple of years of the same jokes and arguments and demeaning comments that were forced upon you because you had to explain why you don't want to eat what everyone else around you eats, you kinda lose your tact a bit.

Never went to somebody with a burger in hand and called him a murderer. Been called an emasculated pussy and wittle little rabbit for eating a salad so many times. Same people then complain about annoying vegans. It's a bit infuriating.

You can also just sit there and wait until everyone you ever bonded with gets diagnosed. It's fun to listen to them explaining how the process went and slowly coming to some realizations about yourself.

I work for a kind of data provider/dashboard/planing tool for energy grid providers. There is an issue with the "sudden" rise of solar panels and heat pumps and electric cars. Our grid isn't made for this and there needs to be modernised.

Aren't clock tattoos like such a cliché that tattoo artists role their eyes when you ask for one? Are a bunch of millennials and gen-x deemed gang members because they followed a trend?

I have checked and my Yamaha battery has an official lifespan of 700 charges. I am probably at around 200 and I have noticed that the battery holds maybe about half the capacity it used to. Which is still usable. So 8000 Kilometers feels to little to me and more like a defective battery than a problem with the technology.

It led me to think about Spotify's politics and ethics and ultimately leaving it as well as a paying customer.

Are you using your public ssh key for signing? Wouldn't it make more sense to use the private one as people can then verify your identity by using your public key?
