What's the craziest cooling methods at the moment?

It’s fine advice if you’re not doing a bunch of labor on a hot day, it’s good for chilling in shade with a breeze where you’re not sweating as hard

US probes Germany's 'persistent underpayment' for drugs
Orange man won’t have to worry about America shouldering the development of drugs for too much longer, the brain drain is already in progress thanks to him

what's the best way to react if a guy stares at you like he wants to have sex with you when you're doing yoga?
Lots of people giving advice here, but I'm not seeing the most important advice being emphasized.
Always trust your gut. Listen to that uneasy feeling and act on it.
We developed this intuition over millennia for a reason. Your subconscious will pick up on cues even if you consciously aren't catching it.

Nice Guy
This comic illustrates my internal struggle to get along with my trump bootlicker coworkers.
I have to schmooze a little bit to keep the working relationship running, but I feel disgusted every single day when the little hints of what they stand for peek out.

Consider that a third of the country didn't even vote and you'll be much more ready to accept there's folks on the fringe who care just enough to vote, for petty reasons

License Plate Readers Are Creating a US-Wide Database of More Than Just Cars
Alright! Dystopian nightmare timeline is a go!
I especially like the part where cops are reported to heavily abuse these databases for personal agendas or to share with criminals. Truly ACAB
This is a very good reason to maintain the appearance of neutrality while facing your local community
This might even be an argument for putting those smoked opaque covers on your license plates even if it's questionably legal. There's more than a few people out there with definitely not legal smoked covers to the point you literally can't read their plates unless you're tailgating them, and cops don't give a shit because nobody is ever pulled over for illegal mods. I'd wager that the cameras can't read them either if you can't at 10 yards

Anon hates Apple
This is almost exactly what happened to me except they told me my phone had mold growing inside it from the shattered screen I wanted replaced.
The “mold” was pocket lint from waiting a month to get it fixed.
Bitch actually said right to my face that my phone no longer works so let’s get you a new one. I powered on the phone right there and he started backpedaling and grifting ‘oh but it won’t be long tho’. So I went home and still use it with the shattered screen because fuck them.

Used Tesla prices tumble as embarrassed owners look to sell
Reply in thread
Your heart's in the right place but this is bad advice.
Teslas are still wickedly expensive to repair and there's only the dealership who can do those repairs.
And the parts break way too often, even parts that shouldn't break ever, like the door handles that only Tesla can replace. The cost of that can apparently be over $1k. For a door handle.
It'd be a money pit after the warranty period runs out. You're still going to be better off with a run of the mill beater car
Until Tesla allows other shops to do repairs, those swastikars will never be economical even if you ignore the Nazi part
Your point about buying used being better for the environment also applies to older gas powered cars too, which will be easier and cheaper to repair

This is one very good example why strong and secure encrypted communication apps should be the default. You should not have to be at the mercy of fb in order to talk to your mom about personal and private matters. It may not have mattered too much in this particular case as the tip came from a judas but it no doubt does, or will, in others going forward.
Not to mention that abortion is medically indistinguishable from miscarriage, if they didnt talk or act with intent to perform an abortion would anyone have noticed in the first place?
Edit: right, just noticed the sub this was posted on. y'all already know.

Bitwarden's new CEO has a Private Equity background, removed 'Inclusion' and 'Always Free' from their website -- because of course he did
That’s troubling, I don’t like what this portends.
The new CEOs background especially suggests they’re spiffing up the company for a later sellout, why else would they pick a merger specialist for the role?

A lesson in housekeeping
Well since nobody else is giving away the spoiler on the 6 hours of technology connections videos( didn’t know there was a third now), it’s to fill the little compartment with the dishwasher manufacturers(not the detergent bottles) recommended amount of detergent and to also add a little bit in the bottom of the dishwasher too to help that pre rinse cycle before the main cycle begins.
I love watching his videos but not everybody does. To those people, you’re welcome

The feeling of sweaty aka slippery butt cheeks in summer while walking to class and worst of all climbing stairs was too much. And let's not forget that farts have a to physically separate your cheeks to escape. Too much weird feeling.
Never again
Now I let my butthole grow some hair but keep it trimmed low because I'm not a heathen

Shop owner shot, killed over rainbow flag outside clothing store near Lake Arrowhead
The reality is that terrorists like this guy are armed and carrying all the time, but the second amendment is for all Americans including liberals, lefties, moderates and everyone in between.
Im not advocating for violence, in fact having a concealed carry permit nearly always means the exact opposite. Someone being aggressive? You walk away and let them win. Someone tailgating you? Let them pass.
Carrying is about situations like this, between a shop owner with a rainbow flag and someone out looking for an excuse to murder someone over rage bait.
