The real American household poverty line isn’t $31,200, it’s around $140,000.

I’m sure many of my left-leaning readers will say, “This is obvious, we have been talking about it for YEARS!” Yes, many of you have; but you were using language of emotion (“Pay a living wage!”) rather than showing the math. My bad for not paying closer attention; your bad for not showing your work or coming up with workable solutions. Let’s rectify it rather than cast blame.

Yeah, no. How convenient you wanna do that when there's no way to avoid the shit that has been given to the other side for-fucking-ever.

Goldman Sachs Head During Financial Crisis Says He "Smells" a Similar Crash Coming

Reply in thread

I guarantee it won't take three years, nor will it be anywhere near the low end. Odds are it will begin in earnest once the lying thieves are voted out of office, and those trying to clean up the mess will take the fall for what the thieves have done to the economy. So, the "middle of the road" flip-flopping morons who don't understand that - nor care to - will eventually switch back to voting for the lying manipulators who tell them what they want to hear, and "look, see! The others are terrible at keeping the economy going!"

I'm SO fucking sick of people.

Just a few

Outside the Ten Commandments (supposedly), the Bible was written entirely by fallible humans - these assholes keep forgetting that part & act like it's 100% perfect (which we know it's not simply by its own self-contradictions).

Guinea worm disease is on the brink of being eradicated

Unfortunately when republicans find out we are spending money fighting disease in other countries, they think why help them?

That's the problem - they don't think, but instead react according to their lifelong programming from bullying. They've been trained by their masters since childhood not to reason anything out beyond the shortest path to one of a set of predefined conclusions. It's so instinctive by the time they're adults (teens, really) that they have absolutely no clue it's what they're actually doing deep down.
