Yes, the speed is affected by the mood of the vacuum. The happier the vacuum the faster the speed of light. I recommend a Henry if you're trying to achieve top speed.

Bagless vacuums are actually slower for light. If you listen to them closely they will say that canister vacuums are not their bag.
