What's a low effort, but impressive, party trick to learn?

I've done this one before and it's always worked for me. The one difference I do is after they put the card on top of the deck I give them the deck and tell them they can cut it as many times as they'd like. By cutting the deck it's incredibly unlikely they'd separate their chosen card and the top card. Plus it makes them think they have more control over things

Long read: Best way to play PlayStation 2 games in 2023

This is a great write up thank you for sharing. I bought a launch PS3 back in 2015 that is still going strong fortunately.

I have considered picking up an original PS2 as well and performing a mod to be able to run games from a hard drive but I'm not very technologically savvy with mods/console repairs so I haven't pulled the trigger yet. If I do I'll definitely grab the adapter you recommended!

‘Godzilla,’ Japanese Movie Monster, to Make End of Year Return in ‘Minus One,’ Releases Trailer

Agreed! Probably the best social/political commentary since the original film. It was also fairly funny while managing to make Godzilla legitimately scary again for the first time in a VERY long time. I haven't seen Anno's follow up film Shin Ultraman because I'm not familiar with the source material really but I do plan on watching it eventually

Paul Thomas Anderson’s New Film Delays Production Start to February 2024 — World of Reel

Well that sucks to hear, always looking forward to whatever this guy is working on next. Cool finding out we may have a short film coming out in the interim though.

On an unrelated note if The Smile is playing show near you I highly recommend checking them out. At one point in a song Jonny was playing a piano with his left hand while plucking a harp with his right, truly wild stuff to hear live
