Multiple publications have reported that PlayStation India has allegedly blacklisted several Indian gaming outlets after they covered Sony's decision to end physical game disc production in 2028. Some outlets reportedly lost access to games, while others claim PlayStation's PR agency blocked them on WhatsApp. PlayStation India has not publicly confirmed the allegations. If true, that's a pretty serious issue for gaming journalism and press freedom.
