Same, on a plane I saw a man become very frustrated trying to play essentially the airlines version of MapTap as everytime he'd touch somewhere on the map it would show that he selected Antarctica and give him 0 points. And that's because his thumb/lower hand would always hit the bottom of the screen first and he never figured it out.

I work at a fortune 500 company that's doing all sorts of things to reduce costs. One of those things was taking down all the clocks. So now we just have off-white-yellow circles near the ceilings throughout the office.

The hackaday feed is pretty interesting if you're into that space

Is that.. all of them??? Lmao

Notepad on windows, I think around the XP and earlier versions, had a similar bug. If you typed this app can break and saved it, the file would be corrupted. Something to do with the number and placement of characters.

There's some kind of bird in the Faroe Islands that sounds exactly like this toy. I couldn't figure out what it was but I could hear it above me while hiking, it was delightfully bizarre

Happily spending my holiday in Canada again. The US can get bent

You doing alright? I hope you're around for longer than that

Very true, could also try drying the filament as well.

Definitely, I would be shocked if there's more than a pound of copper in that camera assembly. It's all low voltage electronics.

Line drying makes your clothes last longer too. I do that with all my jeans, towels, hoodies, etc. Basically only use the dryer for cotton socks, underwear, and tshirts.

The charge limiting, is it in the settings somewhere? I haven't seen anything about it

She could have, like, opened the door..

86Ghz

Woah

Ohhh a cow bunny!!

99pi did an episode on this a long time ago, very interesting story! https://99percentinvisible.org/episode/h-day/

Is this new? I tried to figure out how to do that a while ago but couldn't find anything about it

Ahh excellent, I'll definitely be checking that out. Thank you!
