AI bubble

Personally I'm hoping for less rampant use of AI due to realistic token costs. If it's expensive to use, it won't be shoved into everything. And if it's expensive to use, hopefully that also means it'll only be used in places that it actually makes a positive difference.

Immediate charges and eventual charges don't always match. But the fact that the aggressor was let out on a $5000 bond is wild.

Saving A Snake
I don't know anything about house plants, but I had a tree die back to the ground last year and it's already ten feet tall now. Plants are resilient. If you have any ideas as to what the actual issues are, correcting those will help the plant recover.

Microsoft says Copilot is for entertainment purposes only, not serious use — firm pushing AI hard to consumers and businesses tells users not to rely on it for important advice
A salesman for an AI consulting company made the comment that we don't expect perfection from humans, so why should we expect it from AI? He was smug about it, too, like it was his big gotcha. Joke's on him, I'm the one that talked the bosses out of spending money with them.

I canceled my Netflix when this happened. I wasn't really using it, but friends and family were. At least three of them created their own accounts when I canceled mine.

They're so close to realizing it's all fantasy, but I have a sneaking suspicion that they'll find a way to avoid that conclusion.

The task bar is my main reason for staying on 10. Forced grouping with icons only and no option to change it is such a bizarre design decision.
Edit: Sounds like my last major gripe with W11 has been fixed! Dreading a forced switch to 11 much less now.
