The Verge reacting to Reddit's spokesperson trying to discredit them

Reply in thread

Please correct me if I'm mistaken but isn't the reddit dataset used to train LLMs from before Chat GPT became widely known? I was under the impression data from that point onwards was poisoned and not useful for training purposes

I can't seem to find it now but I remember there being a ~90gb .zip megadb upload that got passed around a lot on machine learning reddit subs that was a snapshot of reddit before x date

Are you playing SF6?

Reply in thread

I'm gonna have to agree that the characters in strive are 100x cooler to me and I will likely play strive much longer than sf6 for this reason (Maybe some new char comes out I love but we'll see.)

I have been enjoying Cammy, who have you been playing?

Hi Guys! Glad to have found this place. Hope you're all well. My kitty ranked me up while I was out

My main games are Guilty Gear and Tekken (rusty), but I dabble in almost everything!

I'm also a stick collector and Enthusiast. Sorry for the crappy picture

The Family

My custom Snackbox v2 (I also speedrun Celeste using this)

Discontinued JFA Snackbox V1 I got used on reddit for $200. It has actual wood panels inside it, very awesome

Another $200 used snag on reddit! Official Mixbox! This thing is built amazingly and it has labels so I hand it to new people

And a plain jane hitbox (Paid $200 new)

Finally my most recent purchase is the Crossup. I love it, I make custom layouts for every game. Here's my SF6 control scheme atm I also speedrun Cuphead using this.

You may have noticed I have 2 hitboxes and 2 mixboxes. This makes it so in local play it's always fair and people can borrow whatever they want to try out!

Cheers, I wish this community the best

[Discussion] Celeste Speedrunning

After trying out everything, this is the controller I use for Celeste! I think I'm one of the only people using hitbox to run Celeste (correct me if I'm wrong)

The 3 leftmost buttons are Left, Down, and Right. The thumb button is Up.

The button just above it which I also use my thumb for is Grab.

The top left action button is Jump

To the right of that is Dash

Second from the right is Jump #2 (for spikejumps, dream block double jumps etc.)

Top Right is Pause (This is super useful for quickly skipping cutscenes)

Bottom Right is Demodash macro I can kinda hit with my palm

This lets me (somewhat) ergonomically use my thumb, index, middle, and ring finger to do mostly everything. I have big hands though so more spacing between them would probably be ideal.

The directions are done with the left buttons so no accidental wrong directions. Feathers take some practice though LOL
