They could have done so much. Force third party apps to use their ads or make a reddit premium subscription. Instead they decided to destroy all their free labor.

World's largest sodium-ion battery goes into operation - Energy Storage
Reply in thread
Yes, but that is Lithium-ion. These batteries are Sodium-ion which are better for the environment and can potentially be made a lot cheaper.. It's still pretty new technology so it's not really in any consumer products yet.

A YouTuber’s discussion about and in support of Ad Blockers
Reply in thread
He is super abrasive and speaks like a salesman. I don't like his mannerisms either, but his message and ideals are right up my alley. Also, his videos are not very well edited, if at all, so his videos would sometimes give a very bad first impression. He looks like he's on some drug or something with the dark circles around his eyes. Several videos also make him seem like a gym/frat bro with how he interacts with his employees.

I remember someone on an Amazon review that was making the rounds on reddit years ago. Try searching "Amazon sugar free gummy bears review". The writing was on point and made me laugh for minutes straight as I was reading the whole thing.

People have been warning about all this back when the internet started becoming popular. People just stopped caring when they got so many services for free. Now we are seeing all that public and private presence backfire on us.

I guess it's a combination of passion for the project and having enough money to live comfortably. ConcernedApe is a treasure and I hope the industry keeps shifting towards indie devs and companies that have this philosophy of making games for the fans and not for the money.

Seems realistic to me with everyone here talking about bringing back the guillotine. I can imagine people throwing rocks at and keying these cars.

Organic, huh?

It means "organic" pesticides, which are older and more dangerous to the environment.

Now this is how you conduct a poll.
One of the biggest proponents of the moon landing being real is that the USSR believed it happened. You can imagine the amount of sensors and cameras pointed at the moon to denounce the US if it was fake. Especially while at the height of the space race. Whoever got to the moon first would be the ones to claim it.

Rogue came out in 1980, while Tetris came out 4 years later in 1984. Some nice bit of trivia there.
