Some Retailers Are Refusing to Sell GTA 6 Due to the Lack of a Disc

Reply in thread

If it is on 20 blu rays they better start shipping it on SSDs instead.

But let's be honest, it's not going to be 2TB for the compressed installation. Probably around 100 to 200gb that will be needed, meaning it would need 2 discs at most.

Now, I am pretty old, so I have played a fair few games that came on multiple Disks, CDs and DVDs. Some of my favourite games are on 4 discs.

CD Projekt Red boss believes some fans were forever burned by Cyberpunk 2077's disastrous launch: 'I'm convinced that we lost the faith of some people indefinitely'

Reply in thread

I was really lucky with my first play through. Almost no bugs(One big one, which was patched and fixed the quest for me), and then a few minor things. I absolutely loved the game, and was easily my GOTY.

I would never have suggested getting it on old gen consoles and should not have ever existed. Honestly they also have a pretty terrible track record for games launching well(you always looked for the Enhanced Edition), so I wouldn't have really suggested anyone to get it day one without knowing its probably going to be buggy.

Model says her face was edited with AI to look white: ‘It’s very dehumanizing’

Reply in thread

You know what is the worst thing about this for me.

According to his post, he did not produce the show and did not know that Wu was not compensated for her time until he saw her TikTok.

Not only did they cheat her out of being the model, and replacing her with a terrible AI photo. They also didnt pay her for doing the actual show, until this blew up and the designer saw the tiktok.

We're disabled, Daniel

Reply in thread

Might seem a bit controversial but, I think disabled spots should be the more obvious spots, places in front of shops and on the street.

If you aren't disabled, you should be parked further away, in something like a multistorey carpark.

In an ideal world, there would just be less cars.

Tesla Model X Owner Has Had Enough Of Minimalism, Adds Physical Buttons

Reply in thread

I dont think removing the screen complete is the right way around this. Having something that can display maps and more information is good. But it should have never become the only thing.

You need buttons and easy access to functions that are always available in easy to remember places. So that you aren't spending attention away from the road when you want to change the fan control.

Fuck this bullshit touchscreen only nonsense, actual physical buttons are superior in a car.

This is easy -

"Say Pizza to Drugs, Say No to Yes."

Say no to drugs and replace it with Pizza. And then Say No to Yes, is to empower people in standing their ground against peer pressure.

Should I wait for the "Snyder cut" (director's cut) of Rebel Moon?

So I watched this last night. It is a pretty bad film, with the worst use of slow motion I think I have ever watched.

It feels very rushed in its plot, and the fizzles out instead of ending with a bang. Very few action scenes feel good, from bad camera angles and slow motion that highlights all the wrong things. I would also describe the film as a collection of nobody's, very little character growth and you spend almost the entire film playing Pokémon with them.

I don't recommend watching, and I would be surprised if a directors cut would make a difference.

That lawsuit against Steam’s 30% cut of game sales is now a class action, meaning many other developers could benefit

Reply in thread

This will always be funny to me. In no other aspect of my life do I even know the charge of distributors or shops is, and I dont give a fuck. I still don't know why I as a consumer should give a fuck because that aint my problem.

I go where the best service and the best options for me are. In terms of digital games stores, Steam is easily that platform. In terms of phone platforms, for me it is easily not apple, I coule not care how much people charge to sell in their stores.

I do care about dumb monopolistic limitations though, things like apple forcing browsers to use webkit. That would be like steam forcing all games to use the source engine. Apple not allowing people to install their own store fronts, Google making that more difficult, Steam not allowing you to install Epic... oh wait.
