I have played Slam Tank. It is very goofy, fun and I like the concept but it did feel a bit easy and basic. I think there is probably more depth than I found. Will keep an eye on it up to release.

No worries. I do like PMR, and I will defend it in its current state. Got some deserved hate(maybe a bit too much as I think they got death threats), but was definitely not a recommend then. I would say keep an eye on it, and if you get to the point you want to try it, check in on its current state, heck I would say pirate it on PC first if need be to demo it.

No it is a recommendation with a but. It is good feels great and in its current state I would recommend it. But... the AI is not great, but it is raceable. The rain is not great, but it is fun to drive, despite the look on the windscreen. The car and track list is great, 0 complaints out side of "I want more". The handling is in a really good place, but it isnt the best in places if you are comparing to LMU or iRacing.

Absolutely a recommendation as long as you go in knowing what you are getting, and it still has places to improve.

I could have definitely worded it better in my last comment. And this is also from someone who mostly plays LMU, PMR wont replace LMU in its current state, but I will happily take a break and jump into PMR and do something fun, like Hypers around Nords, or the GT500 cars from Japan... anywhere basically. Or jump in a historical car.

I will defend PMR. It was definitely released in a rough(to be nice) state, but the Devs haven't abandoned it. With all the patches and updates they have done it is in a good state now, and with Aris on the team a lot has been improved in a short time.

Game is still not perfect, but I have been happy to recommend it, as long as you know it still needs improving, and has a small player base. I do think it has one of the best car and track lists for the base game as well, and DLC has been great.

So, for steam this was actually available from the 9th of september in a Beta version of the client. And wasnt exactly pushed out as an update to spite epic, it is just part of a much bigger and more interesting update.

Just to clarify, because I have seen a lot of people not know this. This is part of a much bigger update, and has been in the public beta branch since the 9th of september. Steam aren't "punching down" or doing "corporate BM" in this case.

Might seem a bit controversial but, I think disabled spots should be the more obvious spots, places in front of shops and on the street.

If you aren't disabled, you should be parked further away, in something like a multistorey carpark.

In an ideal world, there would just be less cars.

With regards to the polling rate, I wouldnt worry about it. Gaming Nexus did a deep dive into the latency of the controller, and it is really good. Which is going to be signicicantly more important that the minute difference you would get from increasing polling rate over 250hz.

I dont think removing the screen complete is the right way around this. Having something that can display maps and more information is good. But it should have never become the only thing.

You need buttons and easy access to functions that are always available in easy to remember places. So that you aren't spending attention away from the road when you want to change the fan control.

Fuck this bullshit touchscreen only nonsense, actual physical buttons are superior in a car.

So I watched this last night. It is a pretty bad film, with the worst use of slow motion I think I have ever watched.

It feels very rushed in its plot, and the fizzles out instead of ending with a bang. Very few action scenes feel good, from bad camera angles and slow motion that highlights all the wrong things. I would also describe the film as a collection of nobody's, very little character growth and you spend almost the entire film playing Pokémon with them.

I don't recommend watching, and I would be surprised if a directors cut would make a difference.

Fuck, I am old enough to not need to fool the age checks, I just don't want to participate in them, and I don't think anyone should have too. So strange to go from, "don't tell anyone who you are" to upload all your real details and verify them with a government id.

This will always be funny to me. In no other aspect of my life do I even know the charge of distributors or shops is, and I dont give a fuck. I still don't know why I as a consumer should give a fuck because that aint my problem.

I go where the best service and the best options for me are. In terms of digital games stores, Steam is easily that platform. In terms of phone platforms, for me it is easily not apple, I coule not care how much people charge to sell in their stores.

I do care about dumb monopolistic limitations though, things like apple forcing browsers to use webkit. That would be like steam forcing all games to use the source engine. Apple not allowing people to install their own store fronts, Google making that more difficult, Steam not allowing you to install Epic... oh wait.

For me, it's not the economy it is time. The sheer amount of amazing games on PC means I won't get a PS5 or a PS6 in the future. Not getting 1 or 2 games I want to play is not going to be noticeable in the long run.

As a PC Gamer, why would I block it?

I am not overly interested in the game, don't care if it gets spoilt because it won't be on PC for a few years probably. I am not going to be able to avoid spoilers for that long.

There has been no official gameplay. And honestly, I don't have enough time. There is way too many games to play to be worried about 1.

Pretty sure that Sony is suing because the tariffs were deemed illegal. So if they win that, they are profiting off of illegally obtained money from consumers.

I might be wrong with the assessment of that, but also not American or really following it.
