To the people complaining about the stories in GTA games:

1. Rockstar made Red Dead 2. Great characters. Great story. Great writing. You haven't played VI yet, the story could be awesome.

2. Some people just like to have fun. I play loads of story-focused games, narrative based, lore-rich, all types. But it's still fun to drive around and shoot shit while listening to silly fake radio stations sometimes. Not everything has to be a thought-provoking artistic experience. Give me sticky bombs and a rock/punk station and I'll be happy for hours.

Playing Dark Souls 1. First run since playing through all of the soulsbourne games. I've been sailing through so far (bandit's knife +15, target shield for parries and hornet ring) but am getting absolutely wrecked by Artorias. I missed him on my first run and my weapon barely hurts him so it seems I have a grind ahead of me.

If I had to delete one forever that I've actually played (so not demon souls or armored core) it would have to be DS2. I'm not a hater, genuinely love some elements of it, but the others are incredible and it's the one I least want to go back to

There is a deep problem in American politics, so a comedy show makes fun of it. And you turn around and blame the show for causing the problem. To be honest it is absolutely no surprise that your country is going to shit.

When Obama won, most adult characters that people like were celebrating for days. Like continuously.

When Trump ran the first time, they mocked him by replacing him with an awful existing character who ran on the platform of literally fucking all immigrants to death and had no idea what he was doing. Hilary was just... kind of shit. It's incredibly obvious: one is awful, the other is uninspiring. Like real life where she actually managed to lose.

And in the most recent season they went harder against Trump than they ever have about a politician. He spent most of it cheating on his wife with literal Satan and trying to abort the baby with the help of Peter Theil.

In contrast, they didn't even mock Biden as far as I recall?

The problem is practical. If rules are not written down then you can have punishment without justification, and as an individual you can't depend on fair treatment by the state.

I personally do not see it as being derogatory towards women. As others have pointed out, the same logic would apply to "dick" and yet nobody makes that argument (unless it's rhetorical).
