bro what? literally most devs use it day to day and plenty of people know how it works. push and pull are literally opposites, and used to push and pull from a remote, how is it too similar and vague?

Bringing the classics over to Lemmy

bruh they made us sit in the library and do homework for the whole day if we couldn't afford the trips bc our school would lose some funding for lower headcounts per day. they essentially threw kids in jail for a day for being poor. I remember there was a weeklong science camp our whole grade went on... except the kids who sat in the library for a whole WEEK for being too poor.

ty beanies are infinitely less of a scam than crypto too. even if your beanie baby was worth nothing, at least you still had a physical stuffed animal that you can wipe your tears with. wtf are people doing with their Google drive hosted jpeg?

does anybody else remember before the computers lookup systems came how you could go to the library as a kid and say "I want to read about Egypt" and the librarian would walk you through the whole library pulling a dozen books off the shelves for you and giving you a summary of each book they suggest. it's like they read every book in the library!

Seriously, what is with women's fashion these days? Any other 30-somethings lurking?

this happens every generation. trends and styles change and people who came before it find it harder and harder to relate to them. in reality you just dont want to bother keeping up with modern trends that young people are into now or are too insecure to, so you're projecting it as distaste to trends of the younger generation.

personally, I think young women got it right these days. clothing for women seem less restrictive and young women seem to value comfort over the rigidness of previous generations' high glam styles.

where there are no security holes or flaws of any kind

this in itself is straight up impossible to know or prove. when can you say your program has no vulnerabilities? ever hear of zerodays? finding the best way to do everything in software will never be found or stay constant either.

It's a bit insecure to look at what young people are wearing these days, not think it's a good fit for yourself, and conclude that there's an issue with what the young people are wearing.

it's perfectly fine to have preferences in the fashions and styles you grew up with even if that's not what the kids are wearing these days. no need to yuck the yum of the youth.

wow thanks random conservative on the Internet for providing the real truth to this even though the source says otherwise. those poor people should just shut the fuck up. it's for their own safety! fuck.. if they even tried to go to the rich parts, they'd probably get hurt! definitely should not let that happen... stupid poor people. we need walls! for poor people's protection!
