My ex-wife on letting our 17-year-old daughter date a 38-year-old man when she's living with her

Okay, most people here talking about "is it legal, is it gross, is the ex a cunt, all of the above".

I'd just like to point out that regardless of all of that, since there is legally nothing you can do, the best you can do is support your daughter. Don't engage with the toxic ex. Just let your daughter know that you're not happy about it but that you respect her and support her no matter what. And behave accordingly, don't get mad at her, show her your kindest side.

What your ex is doing feels like manipulation to distance her from you, in addition to rage bait you. Don't fall for that.

You don't. I feel for him. He just needs time and you have to understand some people need their privacy and there is no amount of time spent together that can change that. I'm one of those people. I'd be equally tense with a friend's family or my in laws if I had them, no matter how much I like them, no matter how well we get along.

Edit: that being said, it's possible he'll loosen up as you say but there is also a chance the more pressure you put on him, the more you insist on welcoming him, will backfire.

Just take it easy.

I disagree with the glasses part as counterargument. Pizzas are sold by diameter in places that offer large and small - some even do medium. I also believe it would be nicer to have wider burgers instead of taller

Planting mint

I obviously don't know... :(

Edit: Thanks for the answers - now I know! Where I live it doesn't spread that easily, and often when it's growing well it disappears overnight or in a matter of days thanks to caterpillars or grasshoppers. I didn't know it would grow out of control in other places.
