Are they really that desperate now?

Can't wait - I need to replace the empty space on my home screen which was previously the home of boost for reddit

wefwef until boost is released

Well for one it is not just a side functionality as the manager in chrome. It also is open source and was audited several time by external experts. And lastly it is super simple to use on pretty much any platform.

I can't wait!

Some small addition to the last option:

If you want to browse a community from a specific instance on your home instance you have to add the 'home' instance.

For example your home instance (where you did register your account) is Lemmy.ml and the community you want to interact with is on Lemmy.world you would use:

Https://Lemmy.ml/c/[email protected]

In order to be able to post, reply etc

In my opinion English as well as German should be allowed

Memmy in iPad works great for me (and has an insane speed when it comes development/new features)

Currently it is only available on TestFlight (but was submitted for review a few days ago so I guess it will be on app store soon)

Here is a link to the official community : ![email protected]

Same here - no problems with login

Pixel 7a

Vanilla Androie experience, fast updates and I like the visor astetic

Would love faster wireless charging

Google maps, bitwarden, telegram

Honorable mention: Boost for reddit (hopefully soon to be replaced by boost for Lemmy 😁)

I did also start out on feddit.de but soon switched over to Lemmy.world due to too many limits when it comes to federation (e.g. general ban on nsfw instances).

Since I can still participate in all the communities on feddit.de this does work great for me

Honestly once you are subscribed to an instance I don't think it is a hassle.

If you find the post in the feed of your home instance (for example on All) you will directly post via you home instance. If you are subscribed you can access any foreign community via the communities tab of your home instance.

So at least in my experience with Lemmy I never had the issues you described.
