So excited! I've been a redditor for 14 years, I've tried at least a dozen apps, and Boost was hands down my favorite. Solid apps coming to Lemmy from Reddit is exactly what people need to encourage them to migrate.
@[email protected] for all the people who don't pay much attention but have Boost on their phone, have you considered updating the app with a big ol' "come to Lemmy" notice?
I was unsure where to look for a Reddit alternative, but seeing this app being ported to Lemmy made my decision a lot easier. Looking forward to a smooth transition with Boost.

I'm glad to read that! Boost was the Android App that did not melt my ancient tablet and drain its battery within 45 minutes. I am happy to see that it will come with Lemmy support... and 2nd that wish for Kbin support :-)

At the moment it doesn't seem that kbin has api docs so I'd expect it be a stretch, but seconded. I'd love to have kbin support. The kbin web app is currently sitting where Boost used to in my phone taskbar. It'd be nice to put things back where they belong
I'm excited because the Lemmy web interface isn't super but Rúben's UI will sprinkle some magic on it - especially that last update he released a few weeks ago, which will now be lost to Reddit Inc forever.
I was on the fence about joining Lemmy until I saw this in the Play store today. Knowing a Boost app for Lemmy will eventually come out made the decision easy.

Definitely. I've registered with both, kbin and Lemmy, and unfortunately most seem to migrate towards the latter. Kbin is cleaner and less buggy.
