It says in the article title that it keeps reinstalling itself, not that it can't be removed.

Slovenia’s Janša helps Netanyahu blunt EU response to West Bank land‑grab
There is a typo in the article, the bald genocide enabler is Slovene, not Slovak. Sadly so. Also Israel helped him during elections by interfering and he has to pay back now. That said, he is more than happy to serve them, he is a shitty person.

I really wish PeerTube would take off, or any other alternative.

It's a federated network of open source servers, anybody can host it. So, I think we are pretty safe. For now.

I'm with GreenBeard on this and was always saying that monetization is the biggest peertube problem. Patreon and such are not an ideal option, subscription is IMO. A subscription that would be distributed through authors fairly, but that's not an easy task I suppose.

Two planned datacentres will have higher UK carbon emissions than ExxonMobil, analysis finds | Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire sites predicted to emit 4.5m tonnes a year when fully running
A spokesperson for the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero said: “Datacentres are a vital part of our economy and our everyday lives, helping us interact with the services we need, while driving growth and renewal for communities. We will enable the development and growth of new industries, such as datacentres, by building unprecedented amounts of clean power.”
By using beautiful clean coal?
Also this is a nice chance for all seeing renewable energy as reality today (not nuclear) to show us.

EU has a grand strategy of appeasing the Orange until it disconnects from the US - at least that is what are EU apologists saying. EU is loosing credibility fast I'd say.

I'm confused a bit, though - there is SHIFTphone 8 for preorder while they are already selling 8.1? There is also no mention (or it is in German) of OS updates they are comiting to etc. But I like that phone company produces also an e-bike :) EDIT - which leads only to a banner, nothing else.

PINE64 is Halting its Linux Hardware Line, and The AI Bubble is to Blame
I halted buying new hardware as well. We are facing a destruction of consumer hardware ecosystem, no less, in favor of mythical data centers. But who will use them once there is no consumer hardware to access them?

Wildfires expose — and detonate — buried bombs and mines from WWI and WWII
Yep, this is the usual scenario in Slovenia as well and makes firefighting much more problematic and dangerous than it already is. Luckily we bought a bunch of air tractors to do the job from the above.
