I wouldn't call it a mass exodus, it's more like a slow and gradual exodus that has started and will keep on happening as Reddit will continue to burn itself down

there was this hotel we always used to go to with my family during vacation, nothing exceptional but it was pretty cool. Then one year, for whatever reason, our two rooms were full of worms, on the floor, walls, curtains..they were everywhere. I don't think we've ever went back after that year

I personally think people "should" use the downvote feature on comments that are objectively false, are unrelated to the topic of discussion or on troll/harmful comments

there are a handful of communities related to Reddit (which is fine imo), so I really don't get why some people post Reddit related posts in random/unrelated communities (like this one) and bother people who don't want to hear anything about it

I have to agree. I do think they were both in the wrong and were toxic for each other. However, the amount and severity of the hate Amber received is astonishing to me.

The internet portrayed her as the devil while making Johnny appear as the most innocent victim ever. I'm not going to lie, I was 100% on Johnny's side at first, until I realised no one bothered to share Amber's testimony. And when I looked more into it, I figured she was a victim as well.

Again, I don't think she's innocent but she definitely didn't deserve to be treated so harshly and Depp shouldn't have been praised so much

Είχα υποθέσει πως αφού 2 από τους mods του r/Greece έφτιαξαν κοινότητα εδώ, κάποια στιγμή θα την προωθούσαν στο Reddit. Δεν ξέρω γιατί δεν έγινε (ακόμη), πιθανώς περιμένουν να δουν πώς θα πάει γενικά η όλη κατάσταση με το Reddit τις επόμενες μέρες. Ίσως το καθυστέρησαν λόγω αυτού σε συνδυασμό με τον ντόρο των εκλογών

Δεν νομιζω να υπαρχει καποιο προς το παρον. Δεν ξερω και αν θα εχει πολυ νοημα να φτιαχτει ενα στην παρουσα φαση μιας και δεν ειμαστε ακομη πολλοι Ελληνες στο fediverse

Εχω κρατησει τον λογαριασμο αλλα σπανια μπαινω πλεον. Διεγραψα την εφαρμογη οποτε μπαινω μονο απο υπολογιστη (με ad-blocker), μονο για να δω τι παιζει στο r/greece και για 1-2 ακομα subs που ανεβαζουν χρησιμο/ενδιαφερον content.

Εχει περασει λιγος καιρος απο τοτε που ειδα σε τι φαση βρισκονται τα subs που ημουν εγγεγραμμενη, νομιζω ομως οτι τα περισσοτερα λειτουργουν κανονικα πανω-κατω. Το ευχαριστο ειναι πως αρκετα απο τα subs που μου αρεσαν εχουν αρχισει να δημιουργουνται κι εδω, ελπιζω και πιστευω οτι θα αυξηθουν και τα magazines συντομα, περα απο τους χρηστες.

Στην αρχη δεν ημουν σιγουρη για το πώς θα παει το ολο πραγμα με το fediverse και αν οντως θα χτιστει επιτυχως, αλλα πλεον παρακολουθωντας την πορεια του, το ποσο αυξανονται οι χρηστες και το ποσο ενεργοι ειναι, το θεωρω βεβαιο οτι εχει πετυχει και οτι θα συνεχισει να μεγαλωνει. Τωρα οσον αφορα το Greece σιγουρα θα καθυστερησει να μεγαλωσει, αλλα δεν το θεωρω αδυνατον, αντιθετως περιμενω να γινει. Παρατηρω οτι ειναι πολυς ο κοσμος στο r/greece που ζηταει να ανοιξει το sub, οποτε εξαρταται απο το ποια θα ειναι η απαντηση των mods (οι οποιοι εχω την εντυπωση οτι δεν ειναι πολυ ενεργοι, μπορει να μην εχουν καταληξει καπου ακομα). Αν ανοιξει οπως πριν, δυσκολα θα ανεβει η κοινοτητα εδω. Αντιθετως, αν μεινει οπως εχει ή αν κλεισει, ειναι πολυ πιο πιθανον να αρχισουν να τσεκαρουν περισσοτεροι το fediverse, απο τη στιγμη που θελουν να υπαρχει μια ενεργη ελληνικη κοινοτητα.

Επισης, ειδα οτι το greece στο lemmy.world εχει μαζεψει ηδη 100 ατομα περιπου, αυξηθηκαν αρκετα απο την αρχη του μηνα. Ως biased kbin fan ελπιζω να βρουν και αυτη την κοινοτητα εδω, αλλα ειναι θετικο που αρχιζουν και περισσοτεροι Ελληνες να ασχολουνται με το fediverse οπως και να χει :ρ
