Me too buddy

First thing monday morning.

Looks at river, "If I was in that river Id be so wet right now."

Boss starts looking worried.

"I bet if that river splashed me in the face we'd need two towels to clean it all up!"

Then I dont need to comment on it again until next monday.

How do you beat post-work floppiness?

Recently lost my wife and my whole life feels like this listlessness you describe. Some suggestions people have made.

Plan out an hour after work to do something even if it means not driving home for an hour and going and doing something. This one works for me.

Do all your extra work on the weekend when you have the energy. Laundry and cleaning the house fit in here.

Plan out and prepare your metals for the work week on the weekend. Its only 5 meals. Cook two big meals and portion out the extras as leftovers in frozen containers then make an extra small meal that is either quick to cook or precooked or frozen meal from store. You now have three meal variety you can pick to quickly cook during the week after work. This works for me as the variety makes me feel like I have a good selection to pick from and if I buy some junk otw home I can eat the extra on the weekend.

Force yourself to exercise for at least 20m every other day. A hard sweaty workout! Just fucking do it no matter what. I do this in morning before shower.

Life still fucking sucks and I hate it... But its better than it was and gets better day to day. You just have to do it.

That's really what it all comes down to and the only real advise. Just do it. Pick one and do it for two weeks. Then add one more and do it with the first one for the next two week. And repeat. They say it takes two to three weeks to build a routine. At some point it will feel weird to NOT do it... But it takes time and energy. So just fucking do it because its not going to magically get better on its own.

Just do it already.

‘Rick and Morty’ Team Gives Update on Recasting Process Following Justin Roiland’s Dismissal

They should have had Rick sneak into Mortys room and scream his name to get up. Can pull audio from other episodes from past. Morty wakes up screaming and punches Rick in the throat. Rick starts choking and Mortify asks if he is alright, using old audio again, than Rick punches him in the throat as retaliation. Then they both continue to choke for a few minutes. Then in new voices the agree to never talk about this again. Que new intro.

Whaling suit, Greenland, early 19th century AD

Reply in thread

Its about being waterproof. You climb into the suit and you only have two openings. one for your face covered with a hat or secondary hood. the second one is in the chest covered by a rain jacket or poncho. most of the time you are hunched over forward protecting both the head and chest hole. Under heavier rain you can actively protect both openings as they are both within reach.

Its also a suit that a single person can get in and out of without any secondary help.

Its a good system that looks weird as fuck.

Texas worker accused of being on drugs was actually dying of heatstroke

Reply in thread

and then times it by 10. If it bankrupts the company so be it.

I work in construction. We have a re-roof job running right now. They go through almost a pallet of water every day and are required to have x amount of rest in shade. When it got to hot the hours were moved to night till mid day to protect them from the heat.

If they suspected him of being on drugs they should have pulled him from the job site immediately once symptoms were showing. Anything less is a danger to the employee as well as everyone else on the site.

What this company did was illegal, morally wrong and down right evil.

I'm still blown away by GTA IV's openness

If you caught a car on fire an ambulance and fire truck would show up. They would load the victim into the ambulance and the fire truck would put the fire out. Then the ambulance drive to a hospital and the fire truck would return to the fire station. It was just one small thing. In 5 an ambulance would spawn drive to the victim and run up to them and resurrect them. The fire truck would spawn and put the fire out then drive away and despawn.

The car physics were more realistic. It had vertices deformation. You could also mod the car damage and car physics. People reacted to where they got shot. It used the old euphoria physics engine for ragdolls. So you could have NPCs grab onto your car as you hit them (ie hold onto your hood or door handle). Water physics were a lot better. NPCs reactions to things around them were much better and more varied. Police would stop crime without shooting. IE they'd arrest people or give tickets etc. You could climb things (not just ledges but like scale up a building via the pipes and hvac). The phone and computer were a lot more interactive. You could call up any number you find even if it was written on a bathroom door.

GTA5 was a drastic step backwards in it's implementation. after GTA4.
