The AI warning for Steam browser plugin adds Steam search filtering

Reply in thread

The Outer Wilds feature (...) he kept telling me about this RPG it kept coming up with

So I assume, it was an "Outer Wilds" vs "Outer Worlds" thing because i vaguely remember these two games being released close to each other, any confusing which is which myself.
I don't remember having had issues finding the game I was looking for, but I just tried searching for "the outer wilds" on steam and didn't get the game in the results, only a DLC for it - because the game is just called "outer wilds", without the article. So I guess there is room for improvement in regards to the fuzzy search on steam.

Overall, the steam storefront is very usable as it is, even without extensions. And because the steam client is not much more than a browser engine, displaying that page, I can see why someone might use the client exclusively.

Handheld PC makers are slowly losing touch with Valve's successful Steam Deck template of affordability, and that's very concerning

This is nothing new. Before the steam deck came out, Handheld PCs have already been overpriced expensive. Other manufacturers haven't bothered about affordability before, during ot after the steam deck.

That said, Gabe Newell said the steam deck was priced "painfully", which means they probably had very low margins on the hardware and are making it back on sales on their store. Other manufacturers do not have that luxury.

Smart home

That's bullshit. No one really does keep a gun next to their printer to shoot it in an emergency, the notion is just ridicolus.

What if the printer grabs the gun first? You need to keep it out of reach of the printer.

Roundabouts are Woke

Locals have pointed out the priority for cyclists and pedestrians is unnecessary as only cars and lorries regularly use the Boundary Way route.

So, there is so little pedestrian and cyclist travel, that priority is unnecessary? What's the issue having the priority then? Surely, it wont affect you, then?
