The USF thanked a Z-blogger for providing timely information about fuel deliveries to occupied Crimea.

He's one of the most important military bloggers in the Russia.

The Russian military could never function without getting the huge amount of donations they get from the common folk. And Fighterbomber is one of the most efficient tools for that. If they can get Fighterbomber thrown to the front, the Russian military will have less resources to play with, and the war will end sooner.

He is also one of the people who has been demanding for the Russia to use more violence against Ukrainians, being angry that Putin "is being too kind towards Ukrainians"(!)
That means, he absolutely deserves all the shit that possibly can land on his face.

Turns out their evidence is an AI generated video distributed by Storm-1516

Reply in thread

The horizontal video shows very clearly how an AD missile is launched towards a drone, misses, and then heads downwards, crashing into the side of the fuel container that then explodes magnificently. You do need a lot of payload for that, but a full container of benzine or such DOES have a very huge payload.

There are at least three videos of the top of the container being blown off, and their sceneries are consistent. And also, the events are logical and plausible.

To All the Black Folks of the Fediverse: How has your experience on here vs Reddit been for you?

Reply in thread

Yes.

A lot of stuff here does look odd to a European such as I am, and I am sure the people writing it don't understand that they're assuming all the world works like their own nation does.

But that is not the point of this post. If you want to ask about my experience on Forumverse, then create a separate post for that.

You're essentially hijacking a conversation here.

Why do companies require you to submit a resume but also put the same data into their forms?

What could be cool would be a simple "included in my CV" button that you could click to bypass the field if it would be duplicating information already given. When you apply for 100 positions and each one requires you to painstakingly re-write all the content of your CV, it's a big-time chore.

(Also, I don't think it's okay to ask half the stuff you are asking... Is that really legal someplace on Earth?! Blood type as reason to hire an applicant??)

Finland's longest bridge opens in Helsinki, and it has zero lanes for cars

The carbrains are mad indeed. They are super annoyed that "we built a bridge for one billion euros and then blocked cars from it for no reason!"

Of course the bridge cost a bit over 300 millions. But, there was a larger project where they included everything they needed to build in the vicinity of the bridge project, so that they wouldn't need to dig the ground open, fill it, dig it open again, etc. And everything included, the project did indeed cost a bit over one billion. That number includes the four-lane Hakaniemi bridge, built mainly for cars and without any public transportation routes. And it includes the groundwork for many new houses. And some 10 km of new tram line. And a tram depot. And a block of flats that will be built right overneath the tram depot. Of course, when the flats will be sold, much of the costs of that house will be paid back to the city. And then there are two further tram bridges.

There is no space for more cars in the street network on the cape where the city centre of Helsinki is located, so they would have needed to spend at least 500 million extra to accommodate for the cars that would come from that bridge. Plus, the bridge itself would have had to be built three times as wide as it was built now, which would have cost some hundreds of millions as well. For anybody not going for the centre, there is anyway a better route through another bridge on the northern end of the Laajasalo island. So, not spending some 700 million extra, bringing the total cost of the project from a bit over one billion to a bit under 2 billion, meant that money was wasted.

I've been wondering, why do they not complain that no cars are allowed in the metro tunnels? Why dig tunnels and then prohibit driving cars in the perfectly good tunnels??

Violence rule

All?

So, if I collect clay in some remote place, and make a dinner plate out of it to use in my kitchen, then that dinner plate, which is my property, has been gained and maintained through violence? And it's okay to eat me if I refuse to let go of my dinner plate?

I mean, I do agree with the sentiment of "eat the rich", but for fuck's sake, how is all property supposed to be violence? All property really does include even my toothbrush.

Words do matter.
