The best Lemmy app so far is "Wefwef" hands down. If you loved Apollo you'd love this.

What are you currently reading, and general thoughts so far?
Finally reading Dune for the first time. Enjoying it so far, about a third of the way through. I’ve been dying to watch the movie, but I’m the book-before-movie type.

What games have y'all been playing a lot on your deck recently?

I can’t wait to dive into this.
Heh.

How many steam deck folks are here and what are you playing?
I know this post is almost 3 weeks old at this point, but I’m trying to engage more here versus almost exclusively lurking on that other site… so I’m going to answer anyway.
I got Diablo IV up and running the other day so I’ve been playing that half on my Xbox and half on the deck. Runs great on the deck.
Thinking about picking up that new indie title that just released, Dave the Diver, to start playing that soon. That or Dredge - I am really interested in Dredge.

What are your favorite shows?
Severance for sure. One of my favorite shows of all time. Morning Show S1 is great. Haven’t watched season 2 yet. Ted Lasso and For All Mankind are both excellent. My wife is watching Silo right now and is loving it. Apple is putting out some excellent content.

Without looking it up, what's the degree of the tilt of the Earth?
All the Astronomy classes I took in college have led me to this moment: I think it’s somewhere around 23 degrees.

Playing a ton of Diablo IV - runs great, but I’m still on a quest to find the most optimal (for me) settings. And I just picked up Horizon Chase, Dredge, and Dave the Diver. I’ve played a few races in Horizon Chase and am debating between starting one of the other two. But between ToTK on my Switch and D4, it’s hard to make the time for everything I want to enjoy!

I followed this guy’s YouTube tutorial to get D4 working on the steam deck. Super clear instructions and worked like a charm. I did end up tweaking the settings a bit and am not playing at 60 fps (opted for 45), but it runs great. Here’s the link for the YouTube video. https://youtu.be/zxet_LLQIwE

What's everyone playing right now?
I’ve been playing Zelda ToTK - I’m at about 100 hours and am on the final main quest. I’ve put it down for a little bit before I finish the main story. There’s still so much to do but I was ready for a break. Strangely enough the exact same thing happened with BotW. I got to the very end and then stopped for awhile.
Doesn’t help that Diablo IV came out. I’ve been playing that pretty heavily too. I got it on Xbox and then was so intrigued to try it on my Steam Deck that I bought it a second time and got it set up on the deck. It plays wonderfully. I’m a sucker for handheld gaming.
