WhatsApp is officially getting ads

If thats not a reason to switch to Signal what is.

But people just suck it up anyway, they did when reddit gone to shit, they did when Amazon startes showing ads even tho when you were paying, they did when Netflix disallowed sharing and you had to pay extra.

People just suck up whatever is thrown at them and are fucking stupid.

We cant have nice things, because companies will greed and if users dont react and cancel the shit out of them they and others will continue to press more moneyjuice out of people.

Reddit CEO Steve Huffman says the company used to be so idealistic that people were 'not working very hard'

Guy who never worked hard in his life tries to tell other people to work hard.

Yes sometimes these guys (CEOs) do longer hours, but it consits of eating dinner with other Cs, looking at presentations (which they cant judge because they generally have no idea how the actual business runs), sitting in meeting, flying to other meetings and pretending to look at some company numbers and of course having the very very high responsibility that they keep talking about that they actually never ever have.

Does this mean they should make x50 or more than the average worker ? You judge that.

Cycling is ten times more important than electric cars for reaching net-zero cities

What else would help is making companies fucking liable (and not just that, their CEOs directly!) for the environment damage they cause.

Oil spill because of neglected maintenance ? Straight to jail for the responsible CEO.

Fake tests for car emmissions? Straight to jail.

The high pay of the C-levels is often argued with the big responsibility they have, when in reality the have none. They should be directly and personally responsbile, thats their job.
