You think vegans just eat blocks of tofu all day? My diet has never been more varied and flavorful than when I went vegan. Every single environmental impact study says animal agriculture is a bane to our continued existence, and it goes so far beyond that. Our lands and crops are swallowed up by this ever-rotating machine of suffering and murder that affects the lives of billions of land animals every year, which die terrified and in pain. No "varied protein" myth is worth so much suffering.

Utilize Flux and alcohol. Clean with alcohol utilizing a wipe-clean-wipe method. After soldering with Flux, clean off residual Flux with alcohol. Leaving Flux can promote corrosion. My phone keeps autocorrecting Flux to capitalize it, and I don't care enough to fix it. 🤷‍♂️

Edit: Do not use clinical isopropyl alcohol solutions (~70% whatever). Those solutions need some water to work as a disinfectant. You want as little water as possible (>99% solution).

Believe it or not, isopropyl alcohol leaves residue behind. If you've ever wiped a shiny metal surface with it, you might see it looks a bit duller. Wiping after using alcohol is attempting to remove the residue to give the cleanest bonding surface possible.

This is why I never had a safety plan. I literally cannot afford what I need to feel better, and have to keep quiet or risk losing everything and still not be helped. Nobody will know I was in crisis until I'm gone.
