My opinion on bad manufacturer behavior is: if we keep buying those products(with locked down firmware, Windows-Only Proprietary Cloud filled forked Slicers etc.) more and more manufacturers may go that route.

but the UK has the fewest public holidays in Europe. In Germany we have 9-13 but don't get a day off if a public holiday is on a weekend. And we have a minimum of 20/24 days of holiday on top

Das ist halt dieses Klassische CDU/CSU ding. Die haben vergessen das die 71% Prozent der Zeit seit der Wende regiert haben. Jetzt wo die anderen dank Corona und Ukraine Konflikt ne schwere Regierungszeit haben, kann man aus der Opposition bequem sagen "Das hätten wir alles besser gemacht."
