Often encounters men opening up about nobody listening to them when they open up.
Proceeds not to listen, mock them and blame it on them.
Sure is strange, why this trend continues, right?

Possibly because history tends to repeat itself. Especially in case of US starting conflicts there. Could easily see the Operation Ajax being what he based the book on.

ICE is cutting back on cuffing immigrants in court and warrantless arrests: report

Just an idea.. lets get all the ICE agents hanged for what they did. But then cut back on the hangings. Sounds appropriate.

Just a little advice. For devices you dont trust, dont go for specific blocking, but whitelist instead. Allow only whats neccesary.
If you are not sure what that it and cant find it online, monitor it's traffic for a bit and see what it tries to reach.

I doubt asking questions is being part of the problem. Making claims of authority/expert on the topic, while providing no additional information however..
Have you considered providing credible sources instead? Might be easier for you to discern them compared to the rest of us and would be much appreciated.

Boards are being told to rethink their role in cybersecurity
Just pay the professionals to do their work and not just for a month or two after major incident.
Last thing we might need in scrutinized security environment is some hyped director vibing their revolutionary idea. My money is on their solution being AI, again.

I like the analogy with toilet paper. Because when its bad, the very thing that was supposed to help you, got you covered in shit with no back out plan, making it that much worse.
Very fitting

Why is America not going after rare earth metals and only going after oil?
Iirc they go after both. Didnt they already pressure Ukraine by holding off support until they agreed to provide them with rights to rare earth metals?
Take the information with grain of salt, its just vague memory

I recall one of the first things being taught in psychology "You are not the norm. What is normal for you, doesnt have to be normal for others."
It can be how humans speak and it absolutely is how I often speak.

‘China is not a solution’ to Canada’s problems with the U.S., former Canadian diplomat Kovrig says
Reply in thread
I think the significant production power of China was one of the points. As in, "China can sell cheap and has little need to buy from us", outselling local markets in the long run.
Sounds like valid concern and as you pointed out, Canada might need to diversify, instead of replacing one single point of failure with another.

Anger grows after China's deadliest coal mining disaster in years

I would say the incidents listing totals from 2000s are more relevant to the concerns of people.
Attributing the 1942 incident to China, for a region controlled by Japan at the time, sounds strange.
