Yes, but

OSHA.

The throwers have a union to stop them from killing themselves, which means we don't give them 40kg things to break their backs regularly and anything over 22kgs they buddy lift or get a hoist or something.

Thought it was just airlines being airlines too, but this makes complete sense, don't be dicks about other people's health.

Why all of a sudden tech companies are not being favorable to their users?

Nailed it, investors are demanding profit increases, it's not just interest rates (though they're the main reason) but also the corporate tax cuts in 2018 basically dumped a ton of profit onto corporations because they repatriated all their offshore cash they'd been hoarding.

That bump lasted 2 years, but the expectation of higher revenue is still there, it doesn't matter if you got lucky at slots last month, if you make your normal salary this month investors will be absolutely pissed.

Trump suggests if he loses election, Jewish Americans would 'have a lot to do with that'

You're making a mistake.

He's not the disease, he's only a symptom of something we're otherwise able to ignore.

There are vast oceans of his supporters who love him because he "tells it like it is", ie he helps them speak more openly about their own bigotry.

Trump going away will only give us someone else, and honestly, they'll probably be moderately competent.

Trump is a godsend, because he is so absolutely, perfectly stupid and incompetent, a real operator would be devastating. Use this opportunity to gain resistance to their form of plague before it's too late.

Our primary outer protein is basically keratin, which can be tinted orange(carotene), beige (collagen) or brown/black (melanin).

The green pigment is a byproduct of bilirubin catabolism, which we don't have because we use a different pathway to metabolize and recycle it.

Academic writing

Yeah, it's an in-group exclusivity signifier.

Shame, math is some of the worst at this, everything is named after some guy, so there's 0 semantic associativity, you either know exactly which Gaussian term they mean, or you are completely clueless even though they just mean noise with a normal distribution.

edit: Currently in a very inter-disciplinary field where the different mathematicians have their own language which has to be translated back into first software, then hardware. It's so confusing at first till you spend 30 minutes on wikipedia to realize they're just using an esoteric term to describe something you've used forever.
