Too many users abused unlimited Dropbox plans, so they’re getting limits
I just don't get it. If it's unlimited - in what universe is using it beyond 15TB considered abuse?
I get the reseller part, I get the stupid chia mining part. But if they can say that was the problem - then get rid of those users, as clearly you have already identified them. Don't shift the blame away from your dumbass marketing team onto your users and play an innocent company.
I can't believe how much support dropbox is getting. People seem to accept, without questioning, every bollocks pr statement these days.

You Don’t Need to Use Airplane Mode on Airplanes
The article is crap, but it is correct in that you don't need to use airplane mode. I would, however, advise to still use it purely to preserve battery life of your device as otherwise it will very aggressively keep scanning for networks and drain it.

Sunak proposes raising smoking age every year to create 'smoke-free' generation
I see angry wankers want to moan for the sake of moaning.
Eliminating smoking is a goos thing! I'll take my wins whenever possible, doesn't happen all that often.

14-year-old gang raped, cut into pieces while alive and burned in furnace.
In what fuckin universe does that even make sense. How dull does the mind have to be to justify this? I couldn't chop an arm off of someone I hate, let alone a kid. Let alone all the other insert word to describe this horror.

Intel Gets Hogwarts Legacy Running On Linux Driver By Pretending Not To Be Intel Graphics
I'm glad they found a way, but at the same time - what the hell? Why is it OK for game devs of this magnitude to have a hardcoded hardware list? Look for feature support, not a string that is easy to manipulate outside your control!

Found in the wild: The world’s first unkillable UEFI bootkit for Linux
The Bootkitty sample ESET found is unable to override a defense, known as UEFI Secure Boot, that uses cryptographic signatures to ensure that each piece of software loaded during startup is trusted by a computer's manufacturer.
AKA not that big of a deal, yet. An article from another post about this also mentions GRUB explicitly as a requirement as well as PoC using self signed keys, which renders it sort of impossible to abuse.
UKI + your own keys + secure boot is still not broken.

How is the Piracy community adapting to port forwarding becoming a rarer premium feature, and most users on public trackers do not have it? Is the bitorrent protocol in need of update?
IPv6. My stupid ISP actually shipped their router with all inbound ipv6 blocked with no way to unblock it, so I set up opnsense. Works like a charm!

StarCraft could return, according to Blizzard president, but not necessarily as an RTS
that doesn't necessarily mean it will be an RTS, and whatever shape it takes will depend on the person or team who goes to bat for it.
So... it's not Starcraft, then. It's just another game.

That's a drop in profit, right? Not an actual loss
