Fedora has a package for big-screen but when I boot into it I get an error stating that:

•Type HomeOverlayWindow unavailable

•Type MainColumn unavailable

•Type ColumnActionsRow unavailable

•module "org.kde.plasma.networkmanagement" is unavailable

is there an additional package to install or do I need to scrap this lil experiment?

My console is def out of warranty so why not? Has anyone done it?

I'm using ultramarine linux (fedora based) that has a surface kernel iso, so all the hard work is taken care of. But some of the cool software I want to use is arch first or arch focused. So what's your experiance running arch on a surface device?

To prep I had to • move our bikes and other gear out of the storage area in ths front

• cleanup and trash various uneeded items from Storage area & crawlspace (which I had to Uhsul to the dump)

•get EVERYTHING out of the crawlspace

• move crawlspace items into Storage area

• move everything back when insulation was finished drying.

right now i'm using the Smartish Gripzilla and i like it. it's not too bulky and it's standing up to my phone dropping shenanigans. i wish it had a cover for my charging port though. l

ive set micro as my editor in yazi but when i hit Enter it opens a new document instead of editing the one ive selected. in my TOML i have this under opener.

I just found out that you can add stream games to heroic launcher. So i added Hades and it launches perfectly in heroic. But the my game save is in steam. Can i symlink the save files to the heroic location?or at least copy them over?

and who upgraded to 27 and what do you think of it?

Using bazzite 44 on steamdeck and i downloaded foot term from Bazaar and i wanted to use my own .ini file for it. but it doesnt seem to think that foot i s installed even while im using it. I created a file at ~/.config/foot/foot.ini and i ib looked at /etc/xdg/ there was no foot directory.

The app is called Keyboard2 and i bout it back when it was a paid app. It got delisted and popped up again recently. It is super customizable and has longpress shortcuts. (main reason i bought it in the first place.) the swipe-typing is WAY too sensitive though.
