I like using my stylus and I want to use a program that translate my handwriting to direct input for text fields. (Like how Apple Pencil uses the pen) here is a wonderful hand drawn example of my idea.

I work for an afterschool program that takes care of kids from two to six in the evening. My kiddo therefore gets to attend for free. It's a pretty good deal.
Occasionally, my child will run up to me on the verge of tears and tell me something like ,"DAD MY FRIENDS SAID I DONT KNOW KARATE". My child has never attended karate in their life. I am a bit flabbergasted at this but I am able to mumble out ,"did you show them you can do karate?"
Now , I am aware I have made a mistake. it's not enough to just do some kicks and jumps and say HAIIII-YAAA at a tree. My kid needs to demonstrate her lack of karate ON people. So that was a fun conversation on the way home.
Another kid (I'll call him big-Gus) was physically and mentally UNABLE to break away from construction toys. To the point where we would announce snack and Big-Gus wouldn't acknowledge us at all. Then later he would sit and cry at us saying he was hungry.
So I had to change how the toys were brought out so he couldn't get any until he ate something. Big-Gus Also loved rockets and space and would ramble on and on about space facts that were 100% not true. But he was entertaining to listen to.
Anyway, kids be crazy.

im using gnome mostly as a tablet and i made the main navigation buttons bigger, but is there a way to make the sidebar icons (tabs) larger? bonus points for making the scrollbars larger too.
Anyone using a stylus? I'm wondering if there is a good affordable option other than a surface pen.
Just started using gnome seriously for the first time, what are some extensions you can't live without? Bonus points if you can help me get rid of the jumping with the on screen keyboard when the word predictions pop up.

After a recommendation from Lemmy, I downloaded KDE mobile alongside plasma desktop to see if my touchscreen would work better. This took a little tinkering and figuring out but I really enjoy this interface. ^borrowed and reconfigured fastfetch theme from a Lemmy user (lost access to old account so I can't tag them, sorry ) ^ the slide-up app drawer for KDE Mobile. ^interatellar, gui client for Lemmy. ^Tuba, gui client for Mastodon.

All in all it wasn't a terrible experience getting it all set up. Def worth the time.
using plasma mobile on a surface pro 4. on login it asks for a pin? i Can login with my password but a pin seems easier and more in touch with a mobile system. can i make that happen? (screenshot is just my desktop)

I'm using KDE on a surface pro 4 and using it mostly as a tablet. I added a css for making the toolbar bigger with bigger buttons, I just need the scroll bars to be bigger.

I inherited it from my grandparents when I was twelve(?) and it was the guitar I learned on. If I had known how nice it actually was I may have treated it better.
I got fedora KDE with surface-kernel working but the touchscreen usability is LACKING. is there a way to improve the touch interface?
EDIT: I've come to realize some of my frustration come from the shitty screen protector the dude before me put on the thing. Also downloading KDE-mobile has helped TREMENDOUSLY
