How does gravity bend time and how come we don't feel it or realize it?
Gravitational time dilation is incredibly weak on Earth, since Earth is not very massive on cosmological scales.

Are there subtle differences from languages using the Latin alphabet involving letters?
Both use the same font, but have the stroke on top facing different directions indicating they are from different languages.
Languages using the Latin alphabet use varying sets of diacritics, often to introduce ways to express sounds that may not have been present in (Vulgar) Latin. A particular diacritic or diacritic-letter combination can generally not be associated with any specific Latin-script-based language, of which there are many hundreds if not thousands (depending on where one draws the line between language and dialect). An interesting example is Vietnamese, a tonal language using the Latin alphabet, which uses a large number of diacritics to express tonality.

Who is serving whom?
Okay... if we consider those societies with the least worst human rights situations, would those really correspond to the ones where "the state" fears some imminent uprising? On the contrary, these are all stable democracies with relatively high confidence in institutions.

What's funny is that Jimmy Wales, who has described himself as an objectivist, is far from "leftist" or "liberal" himself. But unlike this asshole, he is principled.

It's because Greene actually drank the kool-aid, and has now found out what's in it, whereas most of the others only pretend to like it.

Well, there are also those who truly believe and like the Kool-Aid, the really committed white supremacists such as Stephen Miller and Elon Musk. They probably win the evilness contest.

Raising taxes on the superrich is popular with voters. So why is it so hard to get done?

An oligarchic system is one where political power lies predominantly in the hands of a small privileged elite. But it's not a binary concept, the current US system is less oligarchic than it was in the 19th Century, or the Venetian Republic for example. What did you mean?

This guy could become the new British Prime Minister

This isn't even any kind of gotcha-moment. In UK politics, the presence of these joke candidates is well-known. If Count Binface does become Prime Minister, no one will make a big deal out of him being in a picture with Andy Burnham.

Okay, but it is a job. Yes, we could solve all our plumbing problems together, but is just far more efficient to have dedicated plumbers.
The more interesting question is how to set up a system that, relatively speaking, produces politicians that aren't as massive assholes. Less shitty systems provide some hints on how to go about it.

Are they more of an asshole than other people? It’s the role that makes the assholeness seen.
In general yes, the kind of people who become politicians don't tend to be the ones who should become them. However, it is possible to curb the worst excesses.
There are already solutions for every problem. We know what we have to do, we just don’t do it. Nobody can make us do it but us.
That's... inspiring, but not very helpful. By analogy, crime can be solved by getting together and just not committing any more crimes. While self-evidently true, it is not an actual pathway for solving crime.

That's not the full answer though, since a similar phenomenon appears in much less oligarchic systems.
While the rich also have a disproportionate influence in those systems, it wouldn't be enough without the assistance of the racism and spite of the average voter.

The origin of Abrahamic dietary laws is not certain. There is no obvious benefit in terms of hygiene, also not in ancient times (they long predate "medieval" times). Keep in mind that poultry carries a significant risk of salmonella poisoning.
It has been suggested that the origin might have simply been that pigs are viewed as unclean due to their own diet including carrion. Another speculated reason is that rulers might have wanted to promote poultry due to it being a more economical way of raising livestock.
