Speeding for online glory: the internet subculture where young men drive dangerously for likes
I do not understand why the absolute fuck people do this. The fact that modern cars can easily go above 100mph IMO has caused this to balloon, the cars young lads would've had 20-25 years ago would've been complaining a bit at 70.

Id sell a kidney to be able to experience the internet 20-25 years ago, I caught the dying glimmers of that era when I first started using it with small forums everywhere etc.

Im biased but I'd reccommend a used pixel with graphene on it, they're very easy to repair as well I've had to replace the screen on mine twice (im very good at dropping phones) and it was a 40 min job.
Accidently used the call emergency thingy via pressing a button one too many times with the screen off while I was testing the new one, was pretty funny having to explain to the operator it was a accident and no I cant hang up as the phone literally has no screen lmaoo.

No it isnt, its about the production precursors being literal poison for anything they get into with no chance of breaking down. Its a unusually harmful and persistive compound.

No not really, I've seen you pulling shit like this for a while now and the sheer number of popular communities you control is frankly concerning.
This is exactly how we end up with a Lemmy version of awkward the turtle.

Even more horrifying when you realise it can take days for you to even realise something is seriously wrong. Amatoxins are very very sinister compounds, you initially just get some mild GI upset & recover from it but then a few days later your kidneys and liver fail aruptly (which is apparently horrifically painful).

Cope, this was a mass ban for a fairly mild joke on a entirely different space and wasnt even touching your vegan community in the slightest.
They very clearly were not on the vegan com at the time of the comment so the example given is a false equivalency.
Petty reddit powermod behaviour.
You've only walked this back as well due to the mass backlash stemming from this post.
