That is a nonsense statement. The vast majority of stars are already erased for the vast majority of humans. 57% live in cities, 80% live in urban areas. You're lucky is you can see constellations in many cities, let alone the dimmer stars.

Education needs more focus, as always. Logic and critical thinking can easily be taught in primary school. Most people can be taught the basics before they're 10, and more detailed before they graduate. This won't make everyone start thinking things through, or agreeing, but you will actually be able to see the consequences of some choices. Like who pays tariffs.
