Even crazier, he doesn't even particularly like it. He just didn't think it should become vaporware.

I mean to be fair, if she's going to make hating LGBT people her whole personality, we might as well make sure to keep mentioning how ACTIVE she is in her hate.
It would be one thing if she had just said some nasty shit a decade ago, but this goofy lady wakes up and chooses violence every god damned day.

Wonderful Christmastime by Paul McCartney is just the most stupefyingly lazy and annoying song and people just play it 😤 n every single Christmas playlist because it's Paul McCartney.

Why don't protestors who oppose Trump/ICE open carry their guns to prevent what's currently occuring in the US ie kidnapping, assaults etc?
Best and simplest answer is that technically they're still considered law enforcement. Nearly everything they're doing is constitutionally illegal, but only the courts have the right to determine that.
If we start threatening police with guns, every single nook and cranny of our legal system justifies the police murdering us. Maybe some cops would get paid leave for a few weeks, or possibly even lose their badges, but that's about it.
And then they'll use it to justify an even more inflated budget for ICE, and everything will get exponentially worse.

Drop your most "wtf that's not how the world works" from movies/tv shows.

Honestly almost all of it comes from a single duel Wild Bill Hicock had, and also a bunch of bullshit that a traveling huckster named Buffalo Bill Cody just sort of made up for fun in his touring wild west shows.

This is widely credited as the origin of modern reality tv, but it's not completely true. The earliest reality shows I can remember are Road Rules and The Real World, and those both predate the strike.

What's you favourite movie with big plot-holes?
Back to the Future Part 2 can't happen because old Biff wouldn't have been able to return to the future where Marty and Doc were at the beginning of the movie, based on the movie's own logic.
...but it's still great.

absolutely, yeah. there's still a lot of construction folks/builders that refuse to do it. usually the same folks that have superstitions about tools (like never hand someone an unfolded pocket knife, no matter how safely you do it)

They'll mostly just get sick to their stomach and or fat. Dogs don't process sugar very well, but it's not that horrible for them usually. Worse for small dogs with bad constitution. Chocolate specifically is poisonous for dogs, but again... bigger dogs can often just tank the damage.

What are your weird food rules?
My wife pours the milk into an empty bowl then brings the cereal box to her seat and pours it in one spoonful at a time. She insists this makes sense to do, and it's the only way she'll eat cereal.

Palestinian student sues Michigan school over teacher’s reaction to her refusal to stand for Pledge
Pledge of Allegiance is literally some stupid shit some opportunists made up to sell flags to schools with fat government contracts.
It's also just sort of creepy to idolize a flag. I always stood for the pledge in school out of respect for the freedoms I enjoyed, but refused to put my heart on my chest to worship a piece of cloth. This was in the 90s.
Nowadays I don't even stand for it because everything's gone to hell and I'm just constantly mad about it all.

Why not serve fried chicken on Juneteenth? How is it different from serving corned beef on St. Patrick’s day?
Reply in thread
So not to nitpick here, but Juneteenth isn't intended to remember the destruction of any neighborhood. Black Wall Steet, Central Park, etc. were all significant things that happened, but not related to Juneteenth. It's the day that the last slaves in Texas were actually declared free by the Union army on June 19th in Galveston.
