Hey! So now that the fourth season has concluded - what did you think, all in all? How would you rank season 4, compared to the previous ones? What are you hoping to see in season 5 (remember to add spoiler tags for future comics stuff)?
Hi! Thanks for the great app. After switching phones, I encountered a small issue: current Xiaomi phones don't show the per-app language toggle in the app settings, so I can't change Summit to the language I want without changing the whole phone UI.
It's a very low-priority request, but if possible it would be awesome to have some way of still switching the language :)
Thanks!
I think that Steel Seer Zi's dialogue might be meant to recontextualize the first game: What if the Pale King was forced to abandon his old, huge body for his new, much smaller one by the City of Steel?
First, let's look at some of her lines:
...Bug... Higher... It has come seeking... Zi is found... She is awoken.
Immediately, we can tell that "children of steel" (as Hornet calls her in response) can recognize Pale Beings very easily, so the same probably goes for her Masters.
And you... a creature in half... Pale It... Bug It... old... stubborn... alone... You too are observed.
Quickly after, we learn that they have been observing and following Hornet for a long time, too.
...Creature, higher... Its meeting. Zi's awakening... It is not chance... It has been sent to Zi, yes? By Masters served?... To retrieve her vassal lost?
Here, she directly tells us that she thinks Hornet is serving her Masters, so there's a good chance other Pale Beings serve them too.
If we decline her wish, her next words are:
[1] Pale It... You would reject the role? Are you not tamed, bound, by Masters?... You would know... obedience is essential.
[2] Recall, the fate of those who defy... Even you higher... Especially you higher...
[3] ...Compression... We have suffered it. We would never wish it upon another.
Now, although we of course have no idea what Compression truly means, all we know for sure is that Zi went through it, and that it seems very bad. But line 2 implies that Zi assumes Hornet knows what it is & has seen the results of a higher being undergoing compression herself. Zi might be wrong, but if she isn't, there's nothing we've seen that fits the bill more than the image of an enormous Pale Wyrm being turned into a small bug!
As a reminder, here's what the egg of the Pale King looked like in Hollow Knight. There isn't really any evidence here supporting the theory, but I'm not sure Team Cherry was planning that far ahead.
The lore in Hollow Knight implies that the Pale King chose to do this, but that might just be what he was telling his subjects - because if he's ultimately serving Masters even higher than himself, how much of a King is he really?
What do you think?

This is about the anime which was announced a few months back, not new content around the game, sorry!
I already made this post a year ago, and indeed: Sync has been left to die, and we have been scammed.
Please give Sync a bad rating so unsuspecting users don't use, or even worse buy, an abandoned app.
... the Void! I couldn't have been happier to see it expanded upon in Silksong, it's probably my favorite aspect of the worldbuilding, but we still know almost nothing about it.
Feel free to share any fun ideas or theories! I also have a few questions I'd love to get this communities thoughts on:
Is there one huge mass of Void that reaches to Hallownest, Pharloom & possibly other kingdoms, but still ultimately just one finite body of "liquid"? Or is it below everything?
Is there anything solid below, and if so, how deep does it go? (e.g. in relation to the depth of GMSs cocoon)
Is the surface everywhere generally on the same elevation? Some small openings below Hallownest are at slightly different heights, but not by much. Below Pharloom AFAIK it's either the same, or all the same height.
Are the Void Tendrils creatures living inside the body of liquid? Or are they manifestations of the Void itself? If they are creatures, were they born like that, or did they turn into that form?
When the White Lady mentions the Void in the Red Memory, she says:
Witness, the first light. The only means we possess to resist that void with which our family is forever linked.
Does "our family" here refer to the Pale King, White Lady, Hornet etc., or is it referring to Pale beings in general?
Do you think the creation of Pale beings is somehow related to the creation of the Void? I have a feeling the contrast is deliberate.
Spoiler warnings if you haven't beaten the Primordial Nightlord yet!
::: spoiler spoiler How do you interpret the ending cutscene (without Remembrances/character-specific alternative choices)? The most popular interpretation I've seen is that the giant represents the night, and through our actions we essentially go back in time and make it leave The Lands Between, undoing the whole timeline and setting things up for Elden Ring proper. But that's making a bunch of assumptions without much evidence.
We know that the giant represents darkness, since the swirls on his textures are the same as on the Sword of Darkness from SotE. But that still leaves the question of his connection to the Night. What do you think? :::
For the record, the ones we definitely know about are (thanks to the wiki):

What do you all think - getting it at launch? Waiting a bit? Or even skipping it entirely?
I'm getting it at launch, though mostly for single player. I love FromSofts lore, so I hope we learn a bit about the world of Elden Ring (pre-Shattering) through Nightreign. But I'm definitely much less excited than I was for Shadow of the Erdtree.
But alas, he's destined to never receive it.
Invincible has a whole host of awesome and unique characters. Who's your favorite, and why?
Now that season 2 is over and we've all had some time to let things settle & reflect, what are your predictions for season 3? Do you have any particular ideas about things that will/won't happen? Any wishes or other thoughts?
Hey all! @[email protected] and I wanted to give a quick update on the rules, since we received a couple of questions.
We've tried to clarify rule 3 a bit, now it reads:
3. Don’t spoil people in a way they can’t circumvent - that means no mentions in post titles/comments outside spoiler threads for:
- comics spoilers about something that hasn’t happened in the show
- TV show spoilers if it’s been less than a week since the episode aired
As you can see we've shortened the time a bit to allow better discussion after new episodes, and we've clarified how spoilers should be hidden.
What do you guys think? Does this work for everyone, or is something unclear?
